i have smoked half a dozen 6.0 goats with my stock daytona mostly because the punks driving them cant drive for shit and the hemi is by far a better engine.

Absolutely. Try stopping by a Dodge Dealer some time as listed to a Dodge Charger R/T with the 5.7 ltr. Hemi. To date I have done no exhaust upgrade.

sounds great for stock, I have an RT R&T. The Daytonas are definately louder.

Yeah, the Daytona has a high performance intake. Plus I have a CAI. So that may make it sound a little different.

This is the stock exhaust, no upgrade. Haven't tracked it yet. I do however run a Charger Only Car Club in NJ, and any one of the hemi owners will tell you, with a curb weight of 800lbs more than the GT, you will beat the charger off the line, but not in a race. At least not stock.

in all fairness I'm not stock, but i've heard from a few guys that stock gt's have taken the daytona RT's by 3-4 car lengths in a quarter.(05+ S197 GT) I think an srt-8 would DEFINITELY take me though. No disrespect though, I wanted an R/T before I got the stang. My dad is a huge mopar guy, good luck with it. If you put an exhaust on it, PM me the link I'd love to hear it

Believe me, even with the extra weight, its had no problem taking most stock Stangs and GTOs
