the shop Im gonna get mine at said to get regular hid's and not the bi-xenons (which are the xenons with high and low beams) they said every pair of bi-xenons they installed had problems

Did you have a kit with this? because I ordered 8000k hid lights or whatever and it didn't come with one. i'm having them put in tomorrow without the kit will they still work? and they won't be as blue as that huh ? :(. I mean do I have to order the kit tho?

What do you mean by "kit"... if you mean you just ordered the bulbs then no it won''t work, you need the hid ballast so the lights can work.

The drl killer or modifier is so that your ballast get full voltage, and the not partial power they get during the day with the day light running lights.

I plugged my ballasts right in and they worked fine on my Chevy. Although on my forenza with pulsed drl they flashed. Check out my HID videos.
