Inspite of the poor sound quality, i really enjoy this clip, he gets indepth into the ideology behind watain's lyrics and overall theme of the band.

They are one of the few Black Metal bands today that have any sort of substance, in stark contradiction to the over-hyped and commercialized bands like Cradle Of Filth etc.

Very insightful questions. My compliments to the interviewer. However, I did not like the vagueness of Erik's responses. I am genuinely interested in what he would have to say, but nothing Erik expressed delved as deep as I had hoped. I hope that Erik will one day expand on this and clarify to those of us with a sincere vested interest. All in all, hail Watain.

I know. A lot. I just think he needs to set his teenage fans straight, because there are a few ignorant cretins amongst them (ie: those who sign their names w/218, as if they know wtf it is). I'm not at all insulting Watain! Erik is one of the most intelligent guys I've met in a long time, &so are his older generation fans. I admire and respect everything they do,they are one of the very few true BM bands and exceptional individuals.They are my brothers in faith. I respect them on so many levels.I dont think Erik needs to *expand* anything on the matter. Those who are his brothers and sisters already know,and as of the rest, WHO CARES! he said more than enough. To be honest if it was me i wouldnt have had the patience to answer that hylic's questions. Watain's msg is already very clear to those who can hear it.
