I deal with Western Union almost ever day (as an Agent) and I hate it because sometimes you have to either deal with angry customers or Western Union itself. Money is probably the hardest thing to deal with cause it makes people angry for no reason other than that you can lose it or want it too much.
Want to let you know about westernunion dont care customers payment you loose your money. This company is one of the worst company around the word also in the USA I have lot of private information for this company also I know a lot about customer money, old transaction, unpaid money, refunds, debit cards, international money transfer. This money goes to government treasury department also western union keep 45 % of this money customer. I have a lot of M.T.C.N. if interested let me know.
western union is keeping me from sending money to a family for Christmas in the dominican republic. they took the money from my credit card then cancelled the transaction, and will not give an answer as to why. but now my money is tied up who knows where for who knows how long. what a bunch of cold hearted blood suckers they are.
I am living in UK. I have transfered the money to my wife via Western Union. But a stranger picked the money up by using my ID. I wondering WU did the ID check properly when they were paying out!!! If anybody have a same problem or already sort it out please give me a advice. I am so desperate.

Western Union has a defacto monopoly, American Express tried to make a run at store front money transfer agencies, but failed. Some banks offer better deals, but the average immigrant doesnt know of them or WU agents much much more convenient. WU soaks immigrants, that in itself is not illegal. But America allows for boycotts and protest actions, so I wish the boycotters well.
I think WU should raise their rates for people who cannot show documentation. That money can be sent to families suffering from DWI loss due to illegals.
What a bunch of leeches. They get tax free money and then they complain when they have to pay ANYTHING to ANYBODY? Dont get me wrong, I have no sympathy for WU, hell, they were one of the first beneficiaries of the invasion. DEPORT THEM ALL NOW
