I understood/understand it is the German rest. in Epcot in Fl. :) I didn't know they had this @ Epcot...super cool! :) I bet the food was good! =D What did y'all have? :)
There are a couple of German/Austrian restraurants near where I live here in N.C.; 1 is owned by a German man from Hamburg; and the other is owned by some Austrian folks, I think...AWESOME FOOD! =O =D I love to eat at those places whenever I get the chance.
They are nearly directly from Germany. They are Americans who have perhaps ? German genetic heritage. But I´m not sure. I was in Las Vegas in one of the monster show hotels and there was a German Brauhaus. All the members of orchestra and the dancers were Mexicans who had to sing German which was funny. And they looked such Mexican, ha ha..... but the clothes etc were Bavarian style (cerca). The "German" cooking/food was the worst I have eaten ever. But it was funny..... Pete :-)
I'm wondering, Pete, if these musicians were from Germany or here...you know, German musicians DO come over here to do such work professionally, etc. :) You never told me you've visited over here! =P ;) =) Ja, I've been told Vegas has many such 'theme' places...I didn't know they have a 'Brauhaus,' though! =O And, that IS kind of 'WiLd' to have Mexicans imitating Germans, lol. =O ;) I bet that was funny; I'm not even from Germany & I'd think it funny, lol. ;) ...sorry to hear about the food. :-|

the food was REALLY good...at least for being in the US
