hey i love dobermans my parents have both had their share of them and i think its time for one of my own i want a good dobie with a good bloodline like no heretitary diseases and such but i cant seem to find a breeder i think i could trust for th right amount im only 15 and i have to buy the dog myself so it cant be too coastly, and i live in michigan so i need to be able to get it here do u have any sugestions

Roselie Simson-Alverez and the Doberman Drill team where active in the ?late 60's? and early 70's. I remember her daughter had a black and tan bitch that heeled backwards! Great entertainment at the Golden Gate Show at the Cow Palace! We were friends and had dobes from Fred and Vivian Reed, Flashburns Kennels of Saratoga sired by Black Pirate out of Jessie Vom Arthal Tess Hensler's bitch..

Not that this isn't great and all... but the dogs know sit, stay, stand, down, and heel. Thats basic obedience right there. Everyone should have that. ^_^

True, but I suggest that you try it and see how much work it takes for that kind of control (for the dog) to do as well as the dogs in the clip. It looks a LOT easier than it really is. :)

Good example, I'm going to show my drill team this. We're not going to be anywhere near this skill level, but inspiration is always helpful.

I don't get it. I see people drilling while leading Dobes around like cows. These poor,intelligent animals must be insulted, so am I.

These dogs are just amazing. It must take hours of practice. Is there a wesite for this drill team? I really enjoyed the show!

Finally an excellent doggy drill team! MY grandmother used to direct a golden retriever one but haven't seen one that does it so smoothly since. This team does an excellent job!

I love german dogs i am half german myself these are great family dogs it's all in how you raise the dog.
