  • if you love japanese movies, this one is a MUST to watch!

  • So basically the plot of this movie is a mix between Early Edition and The Dead Zone. :0

  • i love Japan, so much good comes from them :)

  • (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ~~♡ muahhhh!! :3

  • @w4mpirk4 Many asian horror films ARE MUCH BETTER than american horrorfilms :D hahahaha

  • I WANT TO WATCH THIS SOOOO BAD!!!!

  • thumbs up for japanese movies!

  • This movies is based in manga of 1970, no in movie of Sandra Bullock.

  • Japanese horror movies are the BEST

  • That

    Looked freaky

  • i love Japanese films

  • I think this was the first Japanese movie i ever watched. And i really liked it! I watched it like 3 times lol. I did see the american movie Premonition with Sandra Bullock. Not exactly the same but pretty similar. This Japanese movie is still better in my opinion.

  • Can someone tell me why American horror films are copying Japanese and South Korean horror films? Don't try to out-shine the original... I'm American and I want to become a film maker and I would never want to make a re-make.

  • @chibigrunt ...regarding the 2 Premonition movies, the only thing in common is the title. In the Sandra Bullock movie, the central character experiences flashes of future events. In the Jpn movie the central character receives warnings of future events via a newspaper coming from the mystical Akashic records. True, both use psychic phenomena as a plot device, but in entirely different ways. And the use of the same movie title is not uncommon, there are 7 movies all entitled "The Uninvited"

  • this is an AWESOME movie! great storyline and it keeps you thinking! haha oh btw, can anyone get me the mp3 for the ending credits? Itd be much appreciated

  • When I compare an Asian horror movie to an American remake I can always tell that the original is always a bit calmer than the remake, but also more interesting. It's obvious that the Americans then only remade for the sake of the scariness.

  • unborn sucked

  • 1:13 WTF

  • Unborn is scary too...but its american

  • Asian horror is the best

  • LOVE THIS MOVIE..ITS QUITE SCARY AND IT HAS A LITTLE TWIST AND THE STORY IS THE BEST..(when i watched this i was like "wha- why is it like that?) the story is a twist..i watched this 2 years ago,i think..

  • Everyone!!! If you liked "PREMONITION"

Alot, then please do watch " A Tale of Two Sisters" it's sooo damn scary

  • THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING! I LOVE IT AND I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE! THERE ARE ENGLISH SUB IF YOU DON'T SPEAK JAPANESE! xD Five star

  • western horror does not scare me, but these asian horror films are terrifying. I am so happy to have found a love for horror that I have not had since childhood. The western remakes piss me off as they are terrible.

  • I think the key differance between this film and the American Premonition is their genres. This one is obviously horror, but the American one was just Dark / Suspense. Plus, like kaitron21 said, they're not supposed to be different versions of the same story.

  • I guess the key differance between the American Premonition and this one is just their genres. This one is obviously horror, but the American one is just Dark / Suspense.

  • LOL i look at all the comments and man!, this movie is creepy and damn good, Asian horror filmmaker sure know how to make a mental scare of yourself.

  • dang. i would not read newspaper after this. or that 'dying people' announcement section. this scared the shit out of me. bloody hell.

  • I've seen this movie, it has a waaaaay better story than the american one and this is the first premonition i think the american's didn't know this one was already out. but my point is the story is better because it's more with human morals than the american one

  • I love asian horror movies alot more than american horror movies.. the americna horror movies is like, you know whats happening, and there it is... in thai, korean, japanese there is like.. waoh, didn't expect that!

  • is this like..being haunted supernaturally kinda horror..or gorely grossed kinda horror?? i wanna watch it if it keeps me at the edge of my seat, send chills down my spine, or raises my arm hair. if it's about meat and gore, let me know so i dont waste my time..thanks

  • I Have seen this movie at a sleep over

But you need to think good if you get

The movie 11:14 you can understand this one

to and this movie isnt that scary than you think

  • the 2 movies you guys are talking about only have the same title. that's it. dumb kids.

  • the lady with no face scared the living lights out me...xD

  • omfg i Refuse to watch this

Japanese are just too good at this shit..

  • lol i just ordered this on amazon along with supernatural season 1 so excited

  • This movie looks GREAT!! but think about how scary it'll be this is what they show (on the trailer)

  • I thought the US one was a remake of this, but it's not. Same title but different story. Anyways, though fair to compare since they're different movies...the American one sucked..lol. I saw the American one first, then checked out the Japanese movie. The Japanese movie was amazing...top notch. That's when I found out they weren't the same, but amazing.

  • @zyzychocolotta It's japanese

  • great movie

  • asian are so much better movies then americans

  • I cant appreciate the american horror movies because they are more focus in bed scene than the horror scene,,..lol...

  • @MrBluexyu I so agree i mean so many horror movies (american of course) would have been so much better without it i mean seriously

  • All i know that Japanese are good in doing horror movies while the american are good in doing Pornographic movies,,...lol..

  • Just seen the movie and its kinda creepy, I recommand everyone to see this.

  • HOLY SHIT NIGHTMARES FOR LIFE

  • This is like another version of the Knowing with Nicholas Cage...

  • @YaoiGaDaisuki ....similar in concept and source. "Premonition" (2004) is based on a 1973 manga "Kyoufu Shinbun" (the newspaper of terror) while "Knowing" (2009) is based on a concept story by Ryne Douglas Pearson, novelist and screenwriter. A major difference between the 2 is their genre classification, "Premonition" is horror while "Knowing" is sci-fi. Otherwise, they are similar.

  • This movie was scary, cruel, unexpected, sad and overall great. Watch it!

  • COOL! I need to see this!

  • I spotted Noriko Sakai

    Looks interesting!

  • der Japaner ist besser als die amerikan

    Ich liebe japanische Horror-Filme

  • Hey I seen this free on Fearnet OnDemand it was a Good ass movie I thought The Movie with Sandra Bullock was a Remake lol cuz they had the same title.

  • i saw this movie and its really good! :)

  • looks pretty disqusting

  • @setsejuk but then again the truck rammed the car in the front not the gas tank

  • PAUSE the VIDEO

    1:14

    YEAHHHHHH ROCKZZZ!!!!!

  • Hey guys have you ever noticed that the car blew up from the trunk instead of the engine have you noticed that?

Plus WHY WOULD THE CAR BE ON FIRE FROM THE TRUNK????

  • i seen this but i didnt understand this movie at all

  • why all japanese movies are being remaked by american?? dont they have any imagination.... so much money and no ideas.. these cheap asian movies are so much better than their milion dolars worth crap

  • do you know the japanese took premoniton from the korean

  • Yeah, but Bullock rules. :(

  • this one is way more scary then with sandra bulluck

  • I'm sorry but I noticed your comment and I had to ask if the one with Sandra Bullock is really based on this? Because when I watched some interview it said it was based off a book. I've seen the book in stores but never read it. So I just wanted to know if your sure this is it?

    Thank You :)

  • sandra bullcock

  • I saw it last night on demand, it was awesome.

  • where did you saw it? i want to download it but i can't find it ;(

  • Free Movies On Demand

  • I watched the crappy american one

back before I knew there was an asian one

    angry face

  • I watched this movie last night, it´s not scary indeed, it´s kinda thriller.

I loved it when it becomes twisted after one hour, I was so confused and it really surprised me.

P.S: i have seen so many asian horror movies that nothing is scary to me, but I love the suspense and their twisted plots.

  • the eye 1 and 2

    inner senes

    dorm

these are a few good ones that come to mind

    I forget the others

  • I haven´t seen INNER SENSES. Is DORM a good movie?, the point is that the trailer doesn´t show me anything interesting. I love the EYEs movies and others like CELLO, HANSEL AND GRETEL, A TALE OF TWO SISTERS, THE LONER, there are so many!!!!

  • inner senses is great, right up there with "the eye" as far as I am concearned

it was leslie cheung's last movie before he killed himself

    its soooo sad

and dorm is pretty good, but the fact that the cast is nothing but kids, it makes it kind of hard to give a crap about the characters.

however, to be honest, most asian horror movies are the same crap, and DORM is a unique enough to be worth your time

  • We are not in the same boat, I love asian horror movies and many people here appreciate them, although they are not scary indeed I like their twisted and confusing stories, I don´t know if it make the bad movies for you.

Hablando de subtítulos, yo veo las películas con subtítulos en español porque este es mi idioma nato.

    See ya!!

  • umm whats with the spanish?

and I am talking about the crappy american one

  • You said that most of asian horror movies are crap.

  • 2nd part of the message

I have seen all of those except hansel/gretel

I got confused on all the others. I always miss a lot with subtitles. I hate them!

  • You hate subtitles? Probably because you have trouble reading. Go back to watching Transformers 2. It's more your speed.

  • @Messenger33 No, TF 2 is a bad example a good one would be the American remake of Let The Right One In

  • By the way, the last asian movie I have seen is CARVED (SLIT-MOUTHED WOMAN) I liked it!!!!

  • i watch the american one...too much sadness in it, but i love the Japaneese version much better!

  • Comment removed

  • i dont think the american "premonition" was meant to be a horror movie

  • It wasn't meant to be a remake of this film either.

  • Hmm the trailer didn't really scare me that much =P

  • lionsgate??? Wtf?? O_o It looks good too

  • good!! want to watch it later..

  • this movie looks a bit stupid to me o.o dont know why because normally i love asian horrormovies ! i think it s because i cant stand this guy xD

  • It looks like they showed ALL the scary parts in the trailer, which can't be good.

The "premonition" theme has been used way too many times, too.

  • i really liked this movie alot, i get it on dvd. XD

  • Its not a movie like "OmG", but I would doubtless consider it very good and even recommend. I more used to the european/american movies, perhaps that's why japanese ones seem strange to me... they have another rhythm - which I do believe to be more tense. Anyways, its not like OmG, but very worth watching.

  • oh yea..i love the guy's facial expression!!! You could see the terror in their face and eyes!

But the problem I hate about this movie was, it resembles The Eye too much! It felt like another version of the eye.

Another reason why the US version was better.

  • If it resembled the Eye that means the eye copied it from them seeing Premonition (j version) was made first.

Also they sweetened the US version so of course people would like it better

  • the movie was cool, sort of boring during some point. I swear down I nearly fell asleep!!! I had to play Gears of War 2, just to keep my eyes entertained and then went back to it.

It was cool, the bit at the end scared the HELL out of me, made me yell out O_O.

But it's not as engaging like the American Premonition.

    Overall, not scary:/

  • American's Premonition wasn't scary :|

  • This look Very good!

this movie is really scary and very mysterious at the same time and that makes a movie really great!

  • Great movie! Good story, quite creepy at parts, would definatly recommend it

  • lol... OK theyre both different movies with the same theme or whatever.. dont compare them... basically, american version STEALING idea from jap version and making theyre own... LOL haha jk... or am i xP

  • this film is cool :)

  • looks quite scary...I think the horror expressed on Asian ppl's faces are better.

  • @wait4udere id say it's the black hair and their pale white faces *shivers

  • All of you who are saying this is better than the American one are idiots.

The American Premonition was not a re-make of this. The only thing that's similar is that they both somehow can kinda see into the future. That's it. Other than that they're different.

So stop comparing the two because they're not the same. Unless you're comparing how Japan's horror filmmakers make better films in general in comparison to America's horror filmmakers.

  • I need help, anyone who knows a torrent to download this movie please tell me

  • OMG! the Japanese and the english are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! in the english one, the lady's husband dies, and every day she keeps skipping to different days of the week it happened from the day the husband was leaving, to the day where she gets locked up! in the Japanese, the guy can see the future and that's all I know. :P maybe the name is just a coincidence? they're both pretty good though :D

  • The American one is not a remake. It's why they're completely different =)

  • @EmongTrailerAccount hey i got a question..

Is the Japanese version spoken in English or just with English subtitles?

    many thanks!

  • its not even the same movie. just bc it has the same name doesnt make it the same.

  • watched the american and the asian one which is wayyy better

  • No the american premonition isnt a remake of this this is a different story line i think but yeah different ppl involved

  • I think this movie was a lot better than the American Premonition. The American Premonition wasn't scary and was just plan confusing. This one was creepy and made more sense to me.

  • looks like a good movie better than the american one

  • american one way different omg

  • i don't know about youtube

but i see it on stars every so often.

just the different endings is so amazing

    and scary.

never seen the whole thing but know how it ends

    so sad.

(i would ruin it for you guys)

    good movie

  • dammm..looks sweet :D

  • it there aywhere i can see this movie like on youtube....full lenght?

  • um try watch movies(dot)net

  • creepy..and it's only the trailor lol wow..the american version seems soooooo not scary compared to this

  • Hmm, the American "Premonition" is not a remake of this one, I think? O.o

  • either way if it isn't and they did remake it..it'd still not be as scary heh

  • Is a copy, Americans uses to copy the Asian versions u.ú

  • This movie i amazing !!!

  • I've got this movie. It's good. ^_^

  • I'm gonna see this movie in CrunchyRoll in a few :)
