  • @sucrey101 shut the hell up jackass its not cheating jack wagon

  • @wwewizard443 um its considered cheating were i come from=) fyi i didnt totaly rag on ur vid! so keep ur rude coments to urself!

  • great video... I kept doing the V cuts on the head and then using pliars to peel the skin.... your way is much faster.

  • This is a bit quicker than a conventional filet knife, but I've got a pic of about a 2 pounder that I did with it, and you can see daylight through the carcass, from cutting it so close to the bone. It looks like a lot of meat was left behind just using a straight cut alone the middle spine.

  • great video thank you so much

    nice catfish by the way

  • what about the fish pissing on itself and ruining the meat

  • nice 10k views 5*****

  • from your name I am betting you are from Arkansas, as am I. What part are you from?

  • I live on Lake Conway near Conway, Ar

  • cool, I am from the fort smith area

  • damn! you say hes 4 lbs and looks about 8-10 lbs!!

  • I have digital scales and I weigh each fish I catch. I now use a bucket and re-zero scales so the bucket is 'tared out' e.g bucket is 0.00 when I add fish. Having scales that let you 'tare' (zero) the bucket makes it easy to weigh to nearest ounce without having to 'put a hole in the fishes mouth'

  • looks like at least 8-10 pounds

  • what brand is your knife?

  • American Angler 110V Electric Fillet Knife - from Walmart BTW: I tried the 12volt model and don't see a lot of difference but since I have invertor and/or electricity where I clean - I use the 110v model

  • thanks.

  • when you fillet them that way does it not get the ribs

  • vice nice vid 5\5...I heard the belly meat is the best...i need to start letting them bleed out i always end up with two bloodyer than crap filletts

  • Looks good, yum yum!

  • Thanks for grill / baking method - I'll keep it - pass it along to friends that worry about greasy fried catfish (friends that like healthy cooking :)

I know greasy fried fish is not as healthy but this old redneck southern fart loves em fried :)

  • y dont you fillett them alive i do it works out fine

  • if you cut the tail off any bottom feeder fish, hang up up and let em bleed out the meat is a lot more tasty...used to do the same with carp

  • That sounds a bit cruel, don't you think?

  • A real catfisherman if I've ever seen one
