wow thats a shame...satriani is a guitar legend...I listen to both bands, Satriani's and Coldplay... in my opinion i think both bands are great. Coldplay did make good songs like yellow, clocks, talk, etc... but its pretty similar with Satriani's If i could fly, probably just a coincidence, but most people who aren't musicians make dumb statements to disrespect a legend...

@amydramine First of all, Joe is a really nice guy. Secondly, it's almost impossible that they didn't steal his extremely odd chord progression (and the main melodic hook, of course). Coldplay listened to Satriani for years beforehand. To top it all off, they even settled with him out of court! But only under the condition that they didn't have to admit to stealing it! Joe then donated all of the settlement money to a charity he frequently works with. Get a clue.
