That jeep had a broken rear axle so it was in 3 wheel drive. The video cuts for a second because the driver digs for an extra minute and then is successful. It didn't need a winch even with 3 wheel drive!
draken, i will take your challenge with my 2 door jk, just let me know when . i will even drive my jeep to the traail head. i would be impressed if you can do that with that poorly designed suspension! 8 in of lift is just ridiculous on a jk, you only need 3.5 to 4 in of lift to flex 40s!

Definitely a sick JK, but anything with a coilover setup will flex more...pretty impressive for a traditional coil setup though!
Thanks for asking... We broke a rear axle shaft earlier in the day and kept wheeling! It has a detroit locker in the rear! Even with 3 wheel drive it went everywhere we needed! Honestly with 40's (39.5's) you have to look for a place to get stuck! There's another video coming where you can hear the axle snapping! A rock the size of a VW rabbit bound the axle snapped it!
Forgiver my lack of knowing. But why at 0:32 isn't the passenger rear tire going? I knows cars that are "All wheel drive" aren't 4wd all the time. But I thought Jeeps and the like were when locked in.
not all wranglers come with lockers. only the rubicons... on the X's, and sports, gotta do an aftermarket locker. he also said they snapped a rear axle..... id hope with 40's they have invested into a set of lockers..
challenge excepted just search project jk and you will see plenty of crazier jeeps with more flex. but that a sick jeep not knocking it at all.
