Did the dude in the Z have the traction control turned On or something? I get more crazy than that just driving from place to place. If I was actually trying to show out for a camera it would look like Satan had come to Earth in the form of a white 350Z.

step 1: Turn the VCD or TCS off

step 2: Dump clutch and stomp gas

step 3: wax the steering wheel and let the smoke roll

im trying to figure out if the s2000 driver is trying to drift a little, or if he just sucks at doing a controlled burnout. either way its amature hour. ooh i can make my car smoke by dumping the clutch, and aahhh it moves when the tires start to grip.... i better start steering so this looks cool!! oh wait.. i dont really know what im doing

changed the bumpers, hood, trunk lid, and roof with carbon fiber parts which help alot with cornering.... got lightweight volk racing rims with lightweight lugnuts.... a lot of time was taken to make sure each and every part could reduce weight

no offence to the blue 350z owner but as u can see.... when the s2000 is doing the donuts it just kicks out its rear wheels with such easee whereas the 350z seems so sluggishh with all that weight.... first thing i did with my 06 350z was take out the rear strengthening beam on which the various speaker bulk is attached.took out the stereo and sat nav and everything now with this and alot of other parts replaced with CFmy car is 100 pounds lighter than the factory car

Hey I noticed the same thing on many videos with the 350z. I was thinking that the LSD's suck. Some videos are great and look like the cars kicking right out nice.

Will yours lock up both tires easy, and evey time? Are you happy with yours?

Don't want to insult either car, I like them both. But if you're talking about torque the V-TEC engine is well known for being very poor, it gets it's power from hi revs. The current model 350z produces 260 lb-ft compared to 153 lb-ft from the S2000.

I bought my 350z after testing an s2000. Honda looked great but was really disapointing. I had to ring its neck to get it to do anything. Acceleration was way too twitchy and fine. Hit a bump in the rad and you end up bunny hopping for 30 feet. What's the point in buying a car when you have to rev the nuts off it to get it do anything. I don't want to drive everywhere at 7000 rpm zzzzz. I know that's how the VTEC engine was designed, max power at high revs but it just tries toooo hard.

your not gunna drive everywhere at anything higher then 6, but as a owner of an s2000 it gets better milage when you drive it like a race car, because its powerband is in the 5500 to 9000 range. You wont look like a tool, but if you want to look classy a m5 might be wat your looking for.

US 350Z's are able to turn the traction control off with a button that disables it. In the beggining of the film the driver in the 350Z had it on by accident, which is why it was so hard to break the tires loose on it.
