Mr. Toomey you're willing to put the needs of the corporation and big interest first and the people of our nation second is one of the most atrocious things imaginable. Federal regulations make sure we have trees to provide oxygen and so we know what's in our food. You sir are bought for by big corporations and serve them willingly while the working man gets the short end of the stick.
"The crushing burden of federal regulations?" As an American I like to know whats in my food. Just like individual has to follow rules, so should corporations.
While I do think some of Senator Toomey's comments have merit, as a politically independent voter/citizen, I also think that there is a glaring need for every member of Congress to be repeatedly reminded that they each have Constitutional duties to GOVERN WISELY regardless of political party affiliations or lack thereof ! Whether they realize it or not, after they have taken the Constitutional Oath of office, they are all members of Team USA ! Wise leaders would try to improve in that regard !
