PSP Games that are bigger than 1.8GB are highly compressed on a UMD. I, too, Have games that are much bigger in .iso format than the UMD can handle (Such as PSPo 1), sometimes up to twice as big, but very rarely is a game itself larger than that (3.6GB). How they've achieved such good compression on such a weak system (compared to PC) is beyond me, considering most PC archiving programs usually only shrink a file by about 35% max depending on the files.

kill zone is 12 gigs actualy and even so most is dummy data to speed up load times. I ripped that Blue ray and basicly it has a 4 gig boot layer withdummy data to fill up the 25 gigs while the other layer was music, maps and data cabs for 8 gigs and another big dummy file so the disk yeah has 50 full gigs of space but mostly its just filler wich woudnt be neded on a iso image

you all are kinda dumb. there are games for ps3 which are not 40gb just because bd's can hold that much info doesnt mean that the games on them are 40gb. I have successfully ripped cod4 and codwaw for ps3 and both are dvd9 size. and no not the full 8.4 gigs either.. same goes for any game on any system. ms just uses garbage info to fill the dvd9s even if the game is only 1.2 gigs total the ripped dvd shows 6.3-8.1 gigs in size. n00bs need to shut up
