this is how i gallop my horse. I get him to canter by making a smoochie noise, then I kick him and yell GIDDY UP! he's an Arabian so he get catches on pretty quick.lol.

whenever me and my friend get done with our lessons my horseback riding instructor (and close friend:) )lets us go out and gallop in her LARGE FIELD lol....

You can gallop horses in arenas

You can't with a thoroughbred because they can't turn quickly ps she was bouncing on the saddle
