  • there is a bug on the screen

  • Ver cool :)

  • It's fuckin' amazing!

  • THERE'S A BUG ON THE SCREEN!

  • motors should be placed above the Center of Gravity for a stable static flight

  • There's a bug on the Screen?!

  • Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • how much does one of those cost???

  • 6:31 shot of the camera girl lol

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA BEST MOMENT!!!! 3:06 - 3:18

  • HEY! Can I ask you guys something? Do you guys buy these planes? Or make it? I think you guys make it right?

  • best moment on youtube EVER 4:16

  • fucking gay

  • i wanna make one! dont really care if it hovers but that just looks cool. haha i'm just tired off buying arf kits after i crash.... haha

  • can u post a vid of the SR-71

  • landing gear is xtra weight but a vid cam mounted on the plane isnt?!

  • @papamoon125421 Video camera makes them money - Landing gears dont :)

  • This is the intersection of ghetto and awesome

  • wheres the rcpowers website

  • عبقري .....

  • I laughed so hard when he said im at full throttle and im going down im venturing back to airplane mod :D

  • 0oo thers a bug on the screen!! haha

  • its the well from the movie "the ring"! 5:08

  • That is a motor mount taped to a motor mount, that's taped to a servo, that's glued to a hinge, witch is hinged to a fin that' PROPABLO going to break off....!?!

    Did i get it right???

    LOL!!!

  • 3:06 - 3:18 was funny :)

  • hey dave i like the POL-LICEE glasses on your shirt

  • Dave how can I watch your survival shows???!??!?

  • looks pretty sweet. what if one motor was pointing more down than the other, instead of adjusting both further down. i would try the front angled more down than the rear. just my thoughts. nice work tho.

  • 4:19 :D

  • slo mo "No dont break it" lol

  • ha ha! ^_^

  • it would probably work better if you used much larger props to throw more air like a helicopter.

  • how much did it cost?

i came up with plans for a jet powered f-35, but way underbudget!

  • I love Keith's NASA style high tech super-duper scientific analysis(lol)!

  • u guys rock val and dave

  • there has a kid suckt on that thing hahaha you are funny and smart :P

  • could you get a ducted fan in there were the real one has it, worth a try nothing to lose , ish

  • what radio controller do you use?

  • Spectrum DX6

  • thx

  • Did you try the frontfan more front facing and the rear fan rearfacing? like this / \ ? Might stable it more since they are "fighting" eachother...

  • do you have roll control in hover mode without a headwind? or does the only roll control come from the ailerons?

  • Hey meybe u can put a chute on the back so, if u r going to crash u can deploy it and reduse impact

  • Maybe you should mount the lift fan inside the hull, if it's very wide use less diameter propellers but in sets of two or three like counter rotating propellers.

  • do have another job besides rcpowers?

  • the voices were hilarius in slo mo

  • HI RcPower... y not have 2 fan run at same RPM and just cut the power by big or small the hole of body..

by then it can been fast correction

  • i love your rc videos keep it up guys

  • OH NO OH-NO - NO, No Brake it _ NOOU, Ok I saw something fly off.

  • no dont brake it. : DDDD

  • lol @ 5:50...all we can 'AXE' for

love you guys, but please, no 'ghetto speak'

  • lmao slow mo

  • hi um im not an expert or anywhere near but have u thought about or tried having seperat throttle controlle for each motor? would make the pitch a little better to controll so u dont need that head wind and u would be able to pitch it so u can get more airflo or less over your controll surfaces sorry for my crappy abillity to spell

  • Ah, there's a bug on the screen ! Funny !

Looks like a lotta fun though .

  • THAT WAS HILARIOUS!!!!

  • Wouldn't puting the motors facing forwards and backwards like this help?: </-------\

the \ and / are the moters and the < is the front of the plane!

  • dont know what the wierd symbols are about but here it is again

    < /-------\

  • Kieth is our catcher. Did we mention Kieth now has no fingers.........Love the work Dave. Keep it up.

  • lol the slow mo its just so funny

  • noooooo... ok ^u^

  • wow i need 2 sub now i think ur planes look awsome

  • I'm just thinking that it would be possible if u can put an air break and then hover

  • i mean to control the propellers

  • how about u use another radio controller to do the roll and the yaw

  • is that BUG onthe screen voice added later to the video ? :))

  • strategically cut holes out of the fuselage to reduce weight to get you hover right. then use that fancy modelers tape to tape over the unsightly holes.

  • it trips me out that your girl filming chuckles when do the wirly bird lol

  • love all your videos

watch my Worlds smallest and cheapest Model RC Plane ^.^

  • the camera girl sounds so cute

  • @benjaminhooper1987 All the girls you never see are cute and it's better not to see them. If you see you may find some are not so cute. Some are even ugly.

  • @benjaminhooper1987 she is.....

  • @benjaminhooper1987 iv'e seen her, and TRUST ME ON THIS she is cute :)

  • There's a bug on the screen at 4:17

  • popcycle with pig flu on it, wow thats an instant classic hahahahahha .and you won another subscriber , count me in guys.

  • what material is the plane body made of please? as im thinking on making one from scratch my self :-) thanks pete

  • have no idear wot they are talking about but it looks like fun

  • its called a high alpha

  • OMG it has swine flu!

    LOL

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about sociology and psychology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) What is aviation mean to us?

    (2) Why do we have impresssion that flying and aviation relate closely to American's culture and values? Is that about freedom and desire of success?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstrom!!! :)

P.S. I live in Hong Kong and I do not know too much about the Americans' culture.

  • flying's been a universal dream...same as space flight. we related it to the Americans because they've been the most successful at flight (NASA, Boeing, etc)

you might be able to relate this success to their relatively free and mixed society with relatively equal opportunities and rewards for all.

  • lol bug on the screen

  • lol the slow mo is so funy

  • verticopter link does not work. Cool video

  • I dont even fly (off road guy) but I enjoy these videos lol keep it up guys and good camera work girl.

  • hehe AH THERES A BUG ON THE SCREEN so random

  • Awesome!

  • this guy is awesome :D definitely something i'd like to get into

  • 4:57 Achooo........Stop That! :P

  • lol

  • theres a bug on the screen!! lol

  • nice

  • hey dave, i supervised 2 final year theses on this subject..f35 vtol and then v22 vtol. you might want to consider looking into an intertial moment unit instead of gyros..you can program them for the responses you require and its a single piece of kit. (up to 6 dof.)

  • oh ri---ahhh theres a bug on the screen! LOL!

  • the real one is not far to be the same, :-) arf ! arf ! arf!

but it is nice, it fly !

  • where do you get the foam and what is it called

  • Love it dave. Keep it up. Were all learning with every new Video.

  • oh no, oh no! Dont break it! hahahahahaha. I love it.

  • Näh theres a bug on the screen!!!! xDDDDDDD

  • no dont brake it, noooo xDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • I'm very happy that you're seeing your long realized dream of self concepted long flight with a strong vertical lift component. Giving props to the "verticopter" is a strong component of your pushing flight reality for your viewers. Right now I'm sure your viewers are clueless to your knowledge, but eventually I know they'll see your bright shining light. I hope you'll best simplify your flight dream experience for perpetuity. Thanks. Dan

  • **Sneeze* Stop that! haha

the camera girl sounds cute :) but a meanie lol

  • thats valerie daves wife

  • here's an idea.

have the forward motor angled forward a bit, and the rear motor pitched backward. then they cancel each other out which comes to a perfect hover. i will try to show a drawing lol. the slashes are the propeller shafts and the dashes are the plane itselff. drawing: /---\

  • 4:16 and 4:57 haha

  • lol 5*

  • wow :) it epic ghah :D so huge ^^ :D

  • Maybe you should check this out.

    youtube vid : QLuqqSW0zX8

  • Looks like you have a prop with a normal pitch and one with a reverse pitch. I would like to get a set, smaller size, but cant find where to get them. Any help? Thanks.

  • 4:20 uhh there's a bug on the screen

  • where can i find the f-35 pdf plans??

  • i,enjoy,watching,you,three,now,as,much,as,the,flying

  • that whirlybird take-off is fairly epic. awesome

  • hahaha i really laughed at 3:15

  • haha lol @ 4:15

  • 3:14 Noooooo!

  • Rofl, the slow-mo compared with the real audio was hilarious XD

  • Yeah that makes me laugh everytime

  • Absolutely amazing:) great Job Dave and crew =)

  • omg you guys rule!

  • you should really try putting 2 small props on the sides to stop it from rolling out of control when hoovering.

elevators and ailerons dont work when you're flying so slow man...

  • Comment removed

  • Stop that! lol that sounded so cute

  • the 'nooo''s on 3:01 are awsome :P

also the plane is awsome btw :)

  • That is bloody scary

Can you make me one lol

  • "we don't say bless you...we say stop that" LOL... that's my new religious view!

  • lol you well get swine flu??

  • lol

you´re a funny and crazy guy

  • have you thought of putting an accelerometer on-board and then transmitting some of that data down to the ground? then, maybe a small micro controller could be on-board to offer some stabilization and decision making towards the inputs. anyway very cool channel thanks for posting these videos

  • thats cool

  • can it do a barrel roll?

  • lol! STOP THAT!!!

  • ohhh nooo!!

  • NUUUuuu lol

  • Pig Flu lol

  • DAVE this vid is featured! Thats awesome!

  • hey dave what begginer plane should i get ?

  • the wild hawk definitely

(he would say that too dont worry haha)

  • who's fiesta is that?

    not sold in the US

  • haha just thought the same thing!

    oh no! oh no!!

    lmao!

    btw cool video!

  • nice there have a schedule lol at thursday!!!SURVIVAL!!

  • Just wondering but how much does it cost to make these planes

  • wonderful

  • OMG A BUUUG OIN TEH SCREIN!!!!

  • ahhh there's a bug on the screen

  • i want to see you guys put together a Lerche VTOL and fly it

    that is your new challenge

  • Oh look at you! Your fingers hurt! hes dainty!

  • AHAHAh

  • sick rc plane, also the voices in slowmotion are so funny

  • lol, the voices sound funny in slowmotion, haha,

    NOOOOOOOOO

  • ahahah noooo! dont break it

  • Just a thought..... Perhaps you could put a gyro on the servos that rotate the motors from forward flight to hover and associate the gyro with the for/aft movement of the plane to help stabilize your hover. This would allow the motors to change vector as needed to further stabilize the hover mode. Im not sure how they would act when the motors are in forward flight mode however.

  • good

  • 2oh no oh no .. no dont break it..; nooo"

  • waw this is the coolest toy on earth

  • "I hear alot of wind not going towards propulsion"

This may be because the first motor is taking valuable air pressure/thrust away from the first one, giving it less air to push, as well as making it work harder.

  • Away form the *second*, not first, sorry.

Also, depending on the airplane's pitch, this could reverse.

  • its hovering its hovering its hovering its hovering its hovering its hovering its hovering STFU MORON!!!

  • i dont understand why the props are situated to be below the a/c?

surely this will give it inherent instability with all the weight above the thrust line, the only stability being from control surfaces with a slight forward movement.

afterall....helicopter blades are on the top! not the bottom!

  • Hi guys, just to let you know I reaslly enjoy your friday RC show, very funny and informative - keep it up. Please take a peek at my last two Vids, i'm restoring a BAE 146 Kit and need some advice and help.

    Andy - in the UK

  • FAIL LANDING! J/k LoL, nice testing =)

  • i dont know if you make your own batterys or not but if you at least know how try building the battery into the plane itself like embed it in the foam youd get better weight distributation and hopefully more power

  • put it some wells and give it to me....lol

  • we don't say bless you we say stop that (lol)

  • no don't break it... LoL..

  • u need landing gears man

  • i think you should put the props above the plane. isnt that the simplest way to make it work?

  • dude ur funny as hell 5 stars keep em coming

  • LOL at 3:08 -3:18 haha
