ok ima clear this up since dyna is my horse and ive know lisa for a long time and talk to her lots. yes dyna has done it her whole life they were going to take her to worlds as a 2y/o. and cowgirl had ulcers yes, but lisa put her down cause she foundered, was in pain, had tummy problems, and trunned into a nasty horse. truly sad. :( so yup thats it guys :P

Why because our pleasure horse's are well trained? Not like a regular horse with it's head all up in the air and no body control? You should really respect the sport and the people, trainers, and horses that compete in this sport!

no..i used to show at it..notice the horse i trained..the roan..it hurts the horses it slowly and painfully hurts them till they are dead tho

It does not hurt horses to do this! It is very hard to teach them to do this. They do not look dead! They are very supple and their headsets are level. It is alot harder to train a pleasure horse then it is to train a barrel horse! I train too so I know!

those horses do look dead! and lame! it does not take as longto train a pleasure horse to go slow..if your horse as the right mind. look at my 3 year old..watch it..and it does slowly kill them! I WOULD KNO!!!

aww did you get offended? fyi..i show at paint show pleasure and all...i do barrel and poles..english and goats...on one horse...my friends AQHA horse just got put to pasture..she is six years old..why may you ask? she was a show horse and your stomach is all ulcers..showing hurts horses and makes them lame...but alot of ppl sell them before hand..gosh

Aww did you get dropped on your head when you were a baby? This does not hurt the horses and fyi I have shown my horse for 4 years and have NEVER had any problems with her and I train with a trainer that has shown paints since she was 6 and she has never had a problem with her horses. You really need to get educated on horses hun. I am sure that barrels and poles is WAY harder on a horse's muscles and joints then western pleasure is.

okay i've had my horse for 14 years and he does western pleasure and is the soundest horse you'll ever meet.

And my friend Jenna her horse is 18 and is the best at it western, she has not one problem!
