Da Vinci was a Renaissance Man, but it doesn't mean he wasn't a genius because his intellectual was adobe other Renaissance Men who were given that title just by being polymaths or simply experts in one field who leave something in the Renaissance age.
As far as I know it is exclusive to PBS. Rick has always been focused on using travel as a way to personally enrich oneself and learn. As opposed to Samantha Brown who I often find is more geared towards just a superficial understanding of the culture and just more about "having fun".
Are the RS travel shows exclusive to PBS? Can the Travel Channel acquire a season? It would be nice to see the difference with Rick's counterpart Samantha Brown.
