This design TL is way better than the new ones. I dunno what happened but the new models are kind of ugly and they aren't as good, they need to go back to this design.

I just bought a 2008 TL and I love it man. The only weird thing I found was that the floor mats were literally missing the white 'TL' emblems. I am not sure what was up w/ that but I really want to get that back. Anyone know any tricks to make that emblem again?

@MW2VideosCenter just press the unlock button once and then a second time and hold, the windows will open and moonroof opens, the only way to do the opposite is to lock the car with the KEY itself on the drivers door, its very similar, you lock once and then a second time but keep the key in the "locking" position, it can help to refresh the car while you walk to it on a sunny parking lot

Hey, How is the head room in that car? I am 6'1 and I want to get either this, 2003 Audi A4, or a 2004 Nissan Maxima SE in a couple months for my first car. So hows the head room and is it roomy inside the car?
@MrArmaniAx Its not all that bad actually. I have a friend whose the same height and has the same car and he has no problem with it...Im 5'10 and I slip in with no problem. Its a good car tho definitely get a lot of bang for your buck.
@chevycam169 nice thats not bad at all for 16 i got mine when i was 17. check out Acurazine theres a lot of tl's on there that u can get ideas from and get information too. haha im a performence geek so mines done up pretty good now...still have other stuff i have to do to it. im 19 going on 20 now.

@somberangel13 hahaha all you have to do is when you unlock your car with your remote, press it twice as if your unlocking all doors but hold the button down and the windows and sunroof should open. to close everything up go to the keyhole and stick your key in, turn it twice to the left and on the second time hold it until everything closes. its also in the owners manual somewhere too. hah hope this helps!

@AcuraBoi32 There is a video on programming the remote but not the transponder on YouTube if you don't know how and if programing the transponder and the remote doesn't come as a package deal! Search "07 civic remote program" Just like that and it will take you to the video! Sorry it took me 4 days to comment back! I haven't looked at my comments!
@AcuraBoi32 And i just thought of another thing! if u don't get the key cut and the transponder programmed, you could use the switchblade as the remote and a key that came with the car! Ur remote could be beat up but those remotes start looking pretty bad really quickly! I really like the switchblade better!!

and it also was certified used and it came with a warrenty and everything. but overall its a great car...its capable of 150mph and it gets almost 30mpg which is very good too...the only thing i wish in a way is that it was rwd like the g35.
Actually that FWD,RWD thing is the what really making me confused. I would love to feel how a RWD car feel but I know Acuras are pretty reliable cars and would like to try one. And Im seeing 6spds with NAV in my price range which is more options than a G in my price range. Guess Im going to have to drive both and see.
yea i know what you mean about that. its just the drivers decision...i test drove the G35 and its very easy to drive because it doesnt have the torque steer like a FWD car. the TL does have a lot of options and technology. the best technology feature is the voice command system. but defenitely go certified used if you get one because some of the stuff on those cars are really expensive to fix and with the warrenty it will be no cost. but yea just try out both and pick the best one for you man.
oh yea and i saw on ebay theres like for the front a lip u can put on if i get thatpainted to match the car will that look alright with the stocked back bumper and side skirts?

nice car man, i got my silver 04 five months ago and people in school are still coming up to me and telling me how nice it is. Im about to get a A spec kit too. Also getting AEM V2, ATLP Base and then im gonna cut the base tips out and put some nice quads in place of it, TL-type S tail lights, yellow HID fogs in the front and thats pretty much all for now. You picked a great car but u should have got a manual like me man..

Prob putting an ipod interface in it, I have 2 12 inch subs and a rockford amp from my last car i might put in the trunck

thanks...mine cost 21000 with taxes title and all that but it came certified so thats y it was that price and it was 2006 too...but im pretty sure you can find some 04's in the teens...u just gotta look in the right places for them
