1) Dos her passive activate just for basic attack or her abilities as well ?

2) Can Spell Shield prevent damage from a spell that is already being cast/channeled ?

1) No, Sivirs passive is only on basic attacks (uncertain about boomerang that abilty sometimes throws me off)

2) As long as the spell has not yet hit Sivir, Spell Shield will cancel it
