I don't know if anyone loved Glenn Miller more than my DF. This song brings back memories of my mom and dad dancing in the living room on a Friday or Saturday night. I sure miss you Dad!
Magnifico!!!Parabéns pelo seu bom gosto musical e grato pela postagem.Quanto ao fabuloso Glenn Miller e orquestra não é preciso falar nada é so ouvir e curtir.
@OldLibrarylady That would be PE6-5000 (in Bell parlance ie first two letters) It was originally PEN 5000 (telephone numbers were 3 letters 4 numbers until sometime in the 930s when they became 2 letters 5 numbers) either way, Hotel Pennsylvania is and was 736-5000 and it claims to be the oldest active phone number in Manhattan.
Memorial Day Weekend - Just thinking about my grandparents and thanking them for everything. Miss you two! Love their generations Music - it's timeless!
