This part of the movie is so true. Most blacks have never been to jail, or committed crimes, but society puts it out there as if blacks do most of the crimes in America. Which also isn't true. Lots of crimes go unpunished in white areas most of the time and is over looked. If police were fair and went after cocaine sellers, check fraud, id theft, pot heads, ponzi scams, drunks who drive from the bar, etc, you would have a lot of variety in jails not just black and brown people.

The problems you are mentioning are a result of socioeconomic forces, not race. Crime rates tend to be higher in the less materially affluent strata of ANY society.
As a visual aid and a way for you to find this information out for yourself, I would like to direct your attention an everyday trailer park.
They exist in vast numbers in the Southern and Midwestern United States and they tend to have comparable (if not higher) crime rates and instances of social deviance.
The difference is, they aren't reported on nightly newscasts nearly as often. The most you will hear about them is tales of alcohol abuse and domestic violence, which are really just surface issues. The rates of child rape and molestation are OFF THE CHARTS, and if you ask me, those crimes are on par with murder.
Now to bring it back to my original point. What do project/urban and trailer park inhabitants have in common?
They tend to come from "lower-class" socioeconomic backgrounds and tend to fall below the poverty line. This is a side effect of economics, not race.

In Canada you're not allowed to have automatic and semiautomatic weapons. Any guns aren't allowed in cities and it's prohibited to carry weapons unless it has 3 locks on it. Does that mean people don't shoot in school? Absolutely not, we had 2 cases at least in 30 years, but it's because emo kids cant easily get weapons that we don't see so much impulse shootings.
three locks?, usually a trigger lock does the trick bud. iv been through airports with just one lock. if you have a rifle in ur car it cant be in plain sight and needs a trigger lock. as for hand guns i have no idea i dont have my restricted license, but i would imagine it would be difficult to put 3 locks on a handgun
I'm just telling you what the law is. You're not allowed to carry weapons on your person or in your car, so to carry a firearm you need a carry permit, lock on your trunk, lock on your gun box, lock on your trigger.
We don't need tougher gun laws that resrict legal ownership. But we do need stiffer penalities for gun crimes. If a person kills another person with a gun then the automatic sentance would be death for the criminal( unless it was in self defense and after all the legal shit is done of course)

This part of the movie is so true. Most blacks have never been to jail, or committed crimes, but society puts it out there as if blacks do most of the crimes in America. Which also isn't true. Lots of crimes go unpunished in white areas most of the time and is over looked. If police were fair and went after cocaine sellers, check fraud, id theft, pot heads, ponzi scams, drunks who drive from the bar, etc, you would have a lot of variety in jails not just black and brown people.

I like Michael Moore for many things but I really reallyt hate him for all of his racial bullshit.
Young black males ARE astonishingly dangerous, particularly when in their element, more particularly when there are a few of them together and even more particularly when it's dark out and you happen to be white.

The problems you are mentioning are a result of socioeconomic forces, not race. Crime rates tend to be higher in the less materially affluent strata of ANY society.

They exist in vast numbers in the Southern and Midwestern United States and they tend to have comparable (if not higher) crime rates and instances of social deviance.
The difference is, they aren't reported on nightly newscasts nearly as often. The most you will hear about them is tales of alcohol abuse and domestic violence, which are really just surface issues. The rates of child rape and molestation are OFF THE CHARTS, and if you ask me, those crimes are on par with murder.

They tend to come from "lower-class" socioeconomic backgrounds and tend to fall below the poverty line. This is a side effect of economics, not race.

In Canada you're not allowed to have automatic and semiautomatic weapons. Any guns aren't allowed in cities and it's prohibited to carry weapons unless it has 3 locks on it. Does that mean people don't shoot in school? Absolutely not, we had 2 cases at least in 30 years, but it's because emo kids cant easily get weapons that we don't see so much impulse shootings.

three locks?, usually a trigger lock does the trick bud. iv been through airports with just one lock. if you have a rifle in ur car it cant be in plain sight and needs a trigger lock. as for hand guns i have no idea i dont have my restricted license, but i would imagine it would be difficult to put 3 locks on a handgun

We don't need tougher gun laws that resrict legal ownership. But we do need stiffer penalities for gun crimes. If a person kills another person with a gun then the automatic sentance would be death for the criminal( unless it was in self defense and after all the legal shit is done of course)
But that will never happen cause the convicted killer has rights while the victim had no rights. They had no trail but still got a death sentance.

Inexistance of regulation? There's been tons of gun control laws passed, and not one has been proven to work. Many laws that were passed, such as the Brady Bill which required more extensive background checks than previously and also introduced a waiting period didn't do anything either. Most gun crimes are committed by people with guns who have had them for 1-12 years.
Many firearm owners have had firearms training. Hell, on average firearm owners practice and train more than police officers!

@camohat I think they covered, extensively, how people thought that buying a gun would make them safer, when in fact it actually made things more dangerous (ie. increase of crime rate). Gun ownership has been rising year on year so there's plenty of statistics you can pull your conclusions from.
That's literally one of the largest messages of that segment and I don't know how you managed to come up with the exact opposite opinion.
