Nice! I'm a pivot user but ill give this tisfat a try. it was a good idea, when they made this program they knew what they were doing. very nice looking, this proves that tisfat can make some epic and great looking battles.

I'm with tisfat and pivot. But tisfat is annoying because if you want to move a leg, the whole body moves, which is very irritating. Great vid though. :)

You should lock the joints if you don't want the whole body to move.

Click on a keyframe and hold "Ctrl" key and click on a joint. It'll then lock that joint so it won't move. =p

Tisfat is more advanced because you have to deal with keyframes and all that. Pivot is beginners stuff unless your like PivotMaster than your pretty badass. But Tisfat is more complicated.

well, i disagree. i think both are good. tisfat is just as good as pivot. but tisfat is much harder to pose characters around with. but on the other hand, tisfat smoothens out animations. but pivot is much easier to pose characters and less buttons. just click the next frame button for the next frame. no right click and "insert keyframe" complicated stuff. but also tisfat lets u add 3d effects. but tisfat is only out for beta so far =( i cant wait to get the official. i lyk both pivot and tisfat

You couldnt be more wrong. Tisfat was actualy created BEFORE pivot but hasnt had much success until a year or two ago. Also even if it were created after it wouldnt be a rip off since it is capable of tweening AND FBF along with alpha, inverse kinematics, and flash export that allows you to edit the animation in flash THEREFORE making it an extremely powerful animation tool. Pivot uses ONLY fbf, you only have 1 layer to animate with, a simple stickman editor, and GIF export.

how is tisfat different from pivot?

Tisfat uses motion tweening while in pivot you have to make every frame. all you do with tisfat is set a pose to a keyframe and Tisfat will make the frames in between. It also uses inverse kinematics so the joints drag more realisticly making it easy to acquire good physics.

In pivot you must move the joints little by little which takes forever and its hard to go back and fix mistakes.
