Answer: Medicare pays fee for service, Medicare hasnt increased their payment to providers for 10 years. Dont forget about the illegal aliens that get all that free care at all hospitals.

The hospital has to pay all those nurses, therapists, lab techs their salaries. The hospital increases the rates to the insurance companies, who then increase our rates. Thats how it works.

My boss has been staying at a cancer center in Boston for free for the last three months. My wife and I got free prescription drugs from pharmaceutical companies by calling and talking to them. There are thousands of other charitable orgs and foundations that specialize in certain medical problems that give assistance. Look it up. You do know how to do that.

So they think the problem is not with them.

If President Obama had sincerity and vision, he would get government out of healthcare, and employers out of providing insurance, so that doctors, insurers and other healthcare providers would have to properly compete for patients and their money.
