  • Old English is not lame! Its awesome!

  • I really love this vid. It's almost like you have given some Anglo Saxons a camera for the day to let you into their world.

  • Heh, I'm currently working on a project exactly like yours right now. The only difference is that this is for a 9th grade honors class.

  • hi. i am so pleased that some of you mentioned something about icelandic language being similar to Old English. i am going to iceland just to see how far these people can read Beowulf! if they can, that will be fantastic

  • if hrothgar had not killed grendel's father, do you think, would all these happen? hrothgar is guilty in this story. but he should have killed grendel when grendel was still a child.

  • Hubo una ensalada de palabras cuando Inglaterra fue invadida, muchas lenguas se mesclaron, así apareció el old english, el lenguaje anglosajón que viene de la actual Alemania y Dinamarca.

  • it is spoken, in iceland, where thelocals speak alanguage so close tha they can read things like Beowulf without dictionaries.

  • i liked the movie with christopher lambert! he is a great actor

  • in that case, i bet it was really good! you must put a lot of effort into your work... is it for university? i didn't know many places still taught it

  • it was for my literature AP class this year. I am a senior in High School...well, I will be until this Thursday ;).
