i played Lollapalooza in 06 and got to see them, they were the headliner that year. It was awesome, got to meet Anthony and Perry Ferrell. Such a great band, it was an honor to play that festival and meet at least one member of the band. I tried to meet flea but it didn't work out that way. I had a blast, and they rocked ass!!!! Foo Fighters made a great song.  It would be nice if i can see them do a show together though, that would be sweet.

We Played earlier that day, the thing about Lolla is after you do your 45 minutes, you get to stay at the festival and partake in everything, Perry really takes care of the Artists, so you could see almost anyone walk past at Lunch or Dinner...or just walkin around the camp grounds. You know what else is funny? I'm from Chicago, after feeling like a rockstar all day, that nite after it shut down, i had to take the bus home. lol. Keeps ya humble

@bobbydakine if i had to guess i'd say it's because they are unfamiliar with the other members or don't feel that they deserve the majority of the credit for the peppers' success. and dave didn't really mesh with rhcp in my opinion, irons left them.. hillel (rip) deserves a lot more credit than is usually given to him though.. i shudder to think how amazing he'd be now given how gifted he was at the early age he was taken from this world..

Good music isn't about making something that's challenging to play, good music is simply music that people can enjoy. I would say RHCP are better than Foo Fighters just out of their creativity, but the Foo Fighters are one of rock music's great bands, regardless of whether their songs are relatively easy to play (and not all of them are).

Meh, i agree with frusciante and flea being better, but taylor hawkins is definitely a better drummer. I love chad, but i think taylor is better. As for better overall musician i would have to say frusciante and grohl are very close. I'd have to give it to frusciante though because his solo stuff blows my mind with all the beauty and creativity. Don't get me wrong though, dave is a genius. Frontman is hard to say though.
