@Karlipbaum I sir know much about the history of the game as I am a 6 handicap...I'm talking about a guy I played golf with modern irons 240(2 I iron), and this guy was about 6'4 at 225....So unless you have some sort of proof and do not take the ignorance to base it off you're swing and game....There is no point in talking.

@Karlipbaum Sometimes guys can hit the ball long if they're big or some aspect of them...I played with a guy who used 15 year old irons and hit his 2 about 240...As I hit my 1 240

Technology hasn't helped iron distance so much. This guy is just naturally strong. I know some top level baseball players can hit a 4 iron 270, and that was decades ago with older equipment.
