This is my 3rd day of not smoking... I feel tempted everyday.. Electronic cigarettes don't do shit for me, when I smoke I want a cigarette not a machine that blows water vapor. @Ghandros I smoke the occasional cigar, and am much happier because of it. I will probably live longer now. The sad point that most people leave out of this whole equation is moderation. Most cigarrette smokers smoke a lot of cigarettes every day. It is bad, for sure. But how bad is having a single cigar once or twice a week? I think the propoganda on ALL smoking is not very fact based. So called studies draw very big conclusions with statistics and junk science.

Sitting back occasionally and smoking a cigar or pipe can be relaxing and relieve stress.If you do it 8 times a day....yeah it's bad. There are options for non-smokers to avoid smoke. Why does everyplace have to be smoke free.
