Well its actually very possible to do this on vegas, but it involves a lot of cookie cutter, and I mean a lot. O_o

and you really dont need after effects to make a good amv. Most of my fav editors use vegas, they use their serious raw editing skills with masking and action. It usually depends what style of editing you like.

well its program has its own way to make it a good amv. AE is only good at effect but vegas are meant for syncing or fast project because it has its own preset. Then its timeline has pictures and fast in playing in real time. AE cant do that, you have to ram preview to able to see the real time.

so well all amvs that i saw that were awsome were made with adobe...

and my question is: is adobe a better program than sony vegas couse i cant find a god damn good amv made with sony vegas... answer me or send me link of atleast 1 amv made with that program (im still new in this amv world so... ^^)

I'm not really into AMV's that much, but overall, After Effects is better in my opinion anyways. However there are some good AMV's out there made with Vegas that I've seen.

Well, it is hard for me to explain, but like, do the same amv with a different anime, but I just got particle illusion, sony vegas 9 and after effects and photoshop, so i'm not very good at the effects yet. something like a tutorial video here on youtube on how to do the effects would be really cool.

You can look up videos here on youtube on how to use certain effects. I'm also very skilled at using vegas if you like you can ask me something. XD I know it almost in and out. :P

not to bust your bubble but those effects are nearly impossible a newbie could NEVER make those and trust me i have had Adobe after effects and sony vegas 9 for half a year and my effects come nowhere close to those on that video just watch them them and you will know wat i am talking about

of course its impossible to learn this effect from the beginners, that is why I rate 4 star rate difficulty. If you watch carefully those effect are all matted animation. To me, I can duplicate this effect. If you become more experience rather than 1/2 year experience then you would know this.

I'll tell you my opinion though, those were photoshopped and imported to vegas. It was matted with black and white. Then it was animated. Any program, you can use this technique.
