the biggest mistake in karate is they love to do all this high kicks that leave their ball sack unguarded....lol and this is one actiing bullshit...fake big time
If you wants to help Japanese arts to develop as good as JKD, invite your Japanese master to Hong Kong learn Wing Chun first, after you complete, learn JKD, then you can think how to combin Wing Chun and JKD into Karate, i'll be very proud if you can make it even if its Japanese.
@Masrider555 I don't have a Japanese master, I'm British. It annoys me because you don't know the history of martial arts, and you spout crap about Bruce Lee, even though I showed you that you was wrong. What martial art do you study? Who is your teacher? How long have you been studying and how old are you? Gene LeBell was a world champion, thats why Bruce asked Gene to teach him grappling, because he needed it to make JKD effective and realisitc!
@KurtCobain198666 Yeah i don't know anything about martial arts for not being proud of Gene LeBell, just only support the Chinese, unless you prove to me that you can fight like Bruce Lee or any Chinese in Hong Kong then i will trust your craps, every arts should have effective unless is a fake martial arts, how many Japan martial arts did Japanese been create since Bruce lee has away?
argue cannot settle the problem we need real fights for prove, Japanese do not know well about Chinese arts, in this video they are not really to fight, they are just try to insult Chinese arts are weak, cuz i can see very well a real Chinese arts that are very fast speed attacking makes you no time for defending.
@Masrider555 OK i'll send you video links of chinese fighters getting knocked down by japanese fighters, is that what you want? But you're so racist and full of hate. You need to stop blaming Japan for killing Chinese. Need I remind you, that the biggest mass murderer in China was Chinese! Remember when Mao Zedong was responsible for starving, executing, and torturing 50,000,000 Chinese people. Google his name you fool, he killed more than the Japanese ever did!
@Masrider555 If you wasn't ignorant, you'd know Kyokushin is a branch of Karate. Also stating that Chinese arts always beat Japanese arts is so thick, you're just a racist fool. Chinese and Japanese arts are just as good, but I prefer Japanese arts because they tend to be more well rounded. The art depends on the fighter and preference, neither countries produce better arts.
@KurtCobain198666 I asking you is that a person name or the arts name? how many kinds of Karate in Japan? you prefer Japanese arts because Karate are popular than Chinese arts, if Bruce Lee still alive, all the Karate sure suffer.
@Masrider555 There's quite a few styles of Karate- Shotokan, Wado-Ryu, Kyuoshinkan, Goju Ryu etc. It's got nothing to do with popularity. It's the fact that Japanese systems were proven on the battllefied time and again, and most Japanese martia; arts can be traced back to those battlefield arts. I showed you vids of tournaments, you show me scenes from movies where the fights aren't even real!!
@KurtCobain198666 You think movies are always fake? fine why dun you go Hong Kong or ShaoLin there to fight with them if you win the Chinese then you talk big, all you shown me they did not show fully real fight all they do is defend and kicks only boring
@Masrider555 You're not listening. Bruce Lee loved Japanese systems. He used throws and joint locks from Jujutsu and put them into Jeet Kune Do. Bruce Lee said that real fights end on the ground, and Chinese systems don't use ground fighting, which is why a Judo expert beat Bruce Lee when they sparred (Gene LeBell). If you read any of Lee's books, or studied JKD you'd know that all the grappling comes from Judo, Jujutsu, or BJJ. And BJJ was created by a Judo expert, Helio Gracie.
@KurtCobain198666 Bruce Lee love Japanese arts? He use all Japanese arts to create Jeet Kune Do? are you telling me that without Japanese arts there is no JKD? before Bruce lee learn Judo he has complete boxing, Karate and Judo by Wing Chun, Bruce Lee pass Wing Chun to Japanese arts too that is how develop about and he said the reason why Chinese arts develop so slow is because lack of commerciate.
@Masrider555 Bruce Lee never studied Karate you fool. In fact he had a sign in his school saying 'show me a classical karateka and i'll show you a dead man.' The only Japanese systems he studied were Jujutsu and Judo. I didn't say Lee used all Japanese arts. I'm saying Lee used Jujustu and Judo to develop the ground fighting in JKD. JKD is made up of Wing Chun, Boxing, Fencing, Judo and Jujutsu.
@KurtCobain198666 i didn't say he learn Karate, i say he has defeated Karate boxing Judo and Thailand Boxing, Karate is part of Chinese he dun need to learn also can is up to him, Bruce Lee develop new arts for Chinese JKD is the no.1 arts, same as Japanese take karate as Japan arts for develop.
@Masrider555 do you not understand that without Japanese arts, Jeet Kune Do wouldn't exist? Lee needed to study ground fighting, because he used to train with Gene LeBell a Judo master. Lee couldn't get near Gene because whenever he did, Gene grappled him and threw him down. Thats when Lee saw that arts like Judo and Jujutsu were important for street fights, because real fights usually go to the ground. Thats why JKD is wing chun, fencing, boxing, judo and jujutsu.
@KurtCobain198666 Even without Japanese arts Bruce lee would use Thai Boxing as combin with wing chun, when did you saw Bruce lee learn fencing? Bruce lee is better than Gene LeBell in fighting but Bruce lee still respect him as his teacher, at least Bruce lee can create a new chinese arts that is world no.1 it dose not matter you are copy from which arts as well you can create your own arts can defeat other arts that is the fact.
@Masrider555 You have no idea about anything! Do you even study martial arts? Bruce Lee studied Western Boxing, Wing Chun and a bit of grappling. He also owned thousands of books on martial arts. That's where he got his knowledge of fencing from. He used the footword from fencing, mixed it with the boxing footword for different situations. Thai boxing has terrible footwork compared to western boxing, it would be too rigid to apply any JKD 'techniques.'
@KurtCobain198666 Thai Boxer is full of body fitness even Japanese arts could not beat Thai Boxing even if you use grapping what have you got to say? foot movement is Bruce Lee own create it is Dancing way of move
@Masrider555 The footwork in JKD comes from Boxing. Why would Lee used dancing as footworkd for JKD when in the Tao of Jeet Kune Do he wrote "Footwork in Jeet Kune Do tends to aim towards simplication with a minimum of movement." He used Boxing and Fencing footword because he liked the lunges and smaller stance. There's no dancing in JKD, Bruce only knew the Cha Cha and that would be useless as a form of footwork. You know nothing of Bruce Lee. Do you even own all his books?
@KurtCobain198666 own your craps, you do not know how useful is Cha Cha move, you can use cha cha easy for the kicks, buying books to learn is unless human different brains if you wants to fight, better choose the best fighter, dun choose beginner like this video, the real JKD attacks you cannot even see it.
@Masrider555 So you're saying that you can't learn from books?! There's no cha cha in Jeet Kune Do! Bruce Lee stated in HIS BOOK that the footwork comes from boxing and fencing. You keep stating how Bruce was amazing, but you don't know anything! What martial art do you study, who is your teacher, and how long have you been studying? I bet you don't even answer all three of those questions, because you know nothing. You only know stuff from the movies, you're pathetic haha
@KurtCobain198666 You learn your arts all from books? no wonder why you so dumb, I rather sleep an dream for going to haven ask Bruce Lee is that true or not, you really trusted the books then you no need to go anywhere alse to learn Martial Arts just trick the books as your master do ask you to do if the books ask you to kill yourself then you also do it and no one knows you die in the house.
@Masrider555 I study Aikido under Sensei Paul Barker 6th Dan. I study JKD under Sifu Stephen Foy, who is certified by Jerry Poteet.Stephen also trained with several first generation Bruce Lee students namely Ted Wong, Daniel Lee, Bob Bremmer. Sifu Foy also studied under Dan Inosanto at the Inosanto Academy. Check out Tiga Martial Arts Academy for details. And yes, I've read Bruce Lee's books. Haven't you? I thought you'd own them all, since you presume to know so much about him.
@KurtCobain198666 You got his books so, is that mean that you are better than us do you wants to try on me? i also got my own books as more pages than Bruce Lee it can read untill you old.
@Masrider555 If you've got his books you'd know that Bruce Lee used Japanese martial arts in JKD! You keep going on about Bruce Lee, when he trained with, and used Japanese martial arts. If you read Bruce Lee: Jeet Kune Do, you'd know he listed all the merits of the Japanese systems. This isn't the Tao of Jeet Kune Do, It's just called 'Jeet Kune Do' its all the stuff that was edited out the Tao. Did you ask if I want to fight you? How old are you hahahaha you little man!! LOL!!
@KurtCobain198666 No thanks, I don't buy dead people's book, even without Bruce Lee, i can still be better as him even also can be over him, why are you scare, scare that i will kill you? being a fighter no guts at all you are chicken.
@Masrider555 well for a starters you live in a different country, bit hard to fight you. Also, you haven't told me your age, what you study, what grade you are, or who your instrcutor is lol!! You haven't show me crap, and through out this conversation you've shown yourself as ignorant about martial arts, and even more ignorant about world history. You're a joke. Everything you've said is without merit, or evidence. At least I provide facts, and not movie clips to back stuff up
@Masrider555 see you can't even tell me what martial art you know or what rank you are!!! Face it, all you know about martial arts comes from films, thats why you keep sending me movie clips. You've never studied in your life. Why would I want to go to a communist crap hole like China? I'd go to Cuba, at least Castro is intelligent, unlike Mao, what an idiot he was! If Chinese martial arts are so great, why did the Chinese guy lose in this video?
@KurtCobain198666 What wrong, scare no balls to come? since we going to one on one why do you asking me lame question? why you scare that i suddenly change my skill? so you find out my infor first then you know how to defeat me? impossible dream on, you chicken asshole say like you really have everythings, Chinese guy only lose to Thai Boxing at least he go into the final.
@Masrider555 because I'm older than you. I have a life. I have a family. You think i'm going to travel to a Communist shithole like China, to challenge a kid who can't even decide what martial art he knows. Can't travel to the UK on your own? Never mind. I've shown you so many videos of Chinese systems getting smashed by the Japanese, so your resort to pure egotism, backed by teenage testosterome. Stay in school kid, study your art more, since you don't even know it's name lol!!
@KurtCobain198666 Dun tell me rubbish, you just a coward no guts come out to prove yourself, even Japanese feel sad for you, wants me to go UK so big how to find you there? oh i alomst for got, i going to army soon cannot unless you come to my country if not must wait for 2 years, you older than me so must i have to trick you as a king? saying your own country shithole? LOL
@Masrider555 You moron, China has a larger population that the U.K! It's easier to find someone here than in China! Joining the Chinese army. You must be so proud to be joining a Communist army. The same Chinese army that ran innocent Chinese protestors over with tanks in Tiananmen Square protests of 1989. The same army that forced people to work in fields while millions of people starved. Deng and Mao, Chinese heroes, actually just mass murderers who killed more than Hitler!
@KurtCobain198666 Why you change your topic into war? in the histroy of Chinese only Mao can take care of Chinese to defend Japanese, mao's wife who is the one who create protest after mao past away, they send his wife to hang death because of her crime did you know this? don't know.
@Masrider555 Mao was the one who ordered a high percentage of the population to work in fields. He was the one who executed millions during the Cultural Revolution. Mao caused the greatest man made famine in history between the years of 1959-61 which killed millions. Between 1966-69 11 million died in Mao's Cultural Revolution, when schools and colleges were closed, and intellects were executed. Try reading 'Mao's Great Famine' by Frank Dikotter.
@KurtCobain198666 mao didn't execute people. he just caused widespread nationalism amongst the people that would lead to many murders and deaths. you are right though, mao reacted too slow in taking preventative measures for the great famine, but you also must take into account that the death tolls are exaggerated for effect in any resource. also, working in fields wasn't bad because everyone knew it was for the country and that was a good enough reason for them. my family was sent to the fields
@ilykbears In 1959 alone 4,500 people were killed for one random or another. The fact that your family were in the fields, and didn't witness executions mean nothing. The death tolls were recorded by the Chinese government, and was one of the reasons that Deng Xiaoping sought to undo Mao's work. The famine was caused by Mao, who took little pity on the millions of starving people. Mao didn't care for lives, being more interested in experimenting with economy and farming.
@ilykbears Then there's the Cultural Revolution Over four hundred thousand people were relocated to the countryside for hard labor. In Beijing for example, 8,500 people were exiled to their legal address on the family registry, 1,700 people were killed, and more than 30,000 households were raided. Saying Mao didn't kill people is like saying Hitler didn't kill because neither pulled the triggers themselves. Mao planned, and encouraged others to kill en masse
@KurtCobain198666 ehh im not too sure about what you are saying. yes mao was a stern and at times cruel man, but you have to understand that he was trying to break the dynasty cycle, which was thousands of years old. i understand that he ordered executions and made quite a few mistakes that would cost many lives, but it was all to make sure that the majority of the population would keep their faith in the government. otherwise the masses would revolt and overthrow the new government.
@ilykbears I understand the death of one for the greater good, but to excuse the deaths of thousands 'for the greater good' is sheer insanity. Was Stalin's or Hitler's actions for the benefit of a majority? No, neither was Mao's. Also, the famine was Mao's fault. It was his policies like planting crops closer together, that led to famine. Also, Mao didn't reverse any policies to combat the famine. He chose to press on rather than admit he was wrong.
@KurtCobain198666 You come to my country then? my country small can easy to find, i wait for you in the airport ok? we only fight alone you no need to know who my master even if come for learning our arts we won't teach you unless you knee down pray us, you use a fake Chinese to make evidence? LOLs clever clever
@Masrider555 And as for Japanese Arts (they're called Budo by the way) never being able to beat Muay Thai, i've got a vidoe of a guy that's a Jujutsu World Champion who beat the Muay Thai World Champion. The Jujutsu Champion wins by decision. (Youtube: Muay Thai vs Sport Jujitsu). The Jujitsu guy wasn't even a master of the classical stylem, just the sport style of Jujitsu and he still beat the Muay Thai Champion. What have you got to say, you ignoramus?
@KurtCobain198666u Jujutsu beat Muay Thai? yeah i can believe Jujutsu champion beat a Thai kid of Muay Thai, stop dreaming of this unless your master is a world heavy weight champion then can compare with fitness Thai.
@Masrider555 i'll message you the video and you can watch as the WORLD CHAMPION of Muay Thai gets beaten by the WORLD CHAMPION of Sports Jujutsu. Since you're too much of a coward to look it up. And you can't even say that Muay Thai guy is rubbish, because he's the world champion lol what a joke!
@Masrider555 Let me get this clear. I am not racist like you. You seem to hate the Japanese. I like Chinese martial arts, and Korean and Japanese arts. I prefer Japanese systems, because they're more direct than Chinese systems. Chinese systems are to flowery and pretty, where as Budo tend to go straight for the kill. It's just a preference, but you're making it about race. I really don't think you've ever studied a martial art in your life, you're a pathetic little man.
@KurtCobain198666 Let me get this clear, i am not racist, i just telling you what i agree and what i disagree with you, you just dun understand Chinese arts, Japanese arts is very easy to learn and easy to attack than Chinese, you must get someone of the Chinese arts to give you drill punch attack into your body then you can feel the pain, now full of western are learning Wing chun the only western with different mind is you.
@Masrider555 Bruce Lee was the greatest martial artist of the 20th Century. But when he fought Gene LeBell, Gene choked him out, because Bruce didn't know how to grapple. You make it sound like grappling is cheating, when Bruce Lee said it was how most fights end. If Lee can see the merit in Japanese arts, I really don't care for your ignorant and racist opinions. I've seen so many fights where kung fu guys get knocked on there asses, so your opinion means nothing.
@Masrider555 Oh like Hap Ki Do. Hap Ki Do is a Korean system which uses kicks, throws and locks. It's founder was Choi Yong Sool. Choi went to Japan to study Aikijujutsu, and came back to Korea to develop HapKiDo. That's why HKD uses so many throws and locks. Ueshiba also learnt Aikijujutsu and developed Aikido, which is why Hap Ki Do and Aikido use a lot of the same throws, because they come from the same japanese art- aikijujutsu. Google before you say I'm wrong.
@KurtCobain198666 Hap Ki Do and Aikido are the same grab and push or make cycle turn, but Hap Ki Do did have some Wing Chun attack, Wing chun also have cycle turn, locks and grab Chinese dun use grab as daily wing chun is about speed drill punch can Japanese do that?
@Masrider555 you're so ignorant. Hap Ki Do doesn't even use basic ideas from Wing Chun. It wouldn't be possible because the stance in HKD is not a centre line stance meaning Wing Chun attacks would be nearly impossible, due to hip placement not being the same. HKD is a mixture of high kicks with variations on aikijujutsu throws. Did you just ask me if the Japanese couldn't think of speed drills just because they're Japanese?
@KurtCobain198666 I mean Hap Ki Do attacking abit same as Wing Chun looked at the way their punch speed, High kicks Chinese arts also have, oh yeah Japanese can do Lbow foot attack but for Chinese's drill kicks is all the way foot kicks.
@Masrider555 And I study Aikido. I can tell you that it's not about push or pull. Sometimes people grab you and hold you still, but they can still be thrown. Aikido uses the centre of gravity, and maintaining ki to control the attacker. Sometimes you don't even have to touch to stop an attacker, so it's not about push/pull at all. The founder of HKD never practiced Wing Chun, I can tell you now the attacks are entirely different.
@KurtCobain198666 Stop telling me you study this study that, how i can trust you, is that so heavy for grabbing someone like the cycle turn? i did saw they using push to make the enemy fall down then he grab i less see Aikido using punch attack, thrown is like WWE when carry you up then thrown you down LOLs
@Masrider555 I respect Chinese systems, but the Japanese train just as hard. Look at Kyokushin karate, whem Oyama fought a hundred man kumite. Now every one who practices Kyokushin has to perfrom a hundred man kumite to grade. All martial artists train just as hard, in difficult situations, regardless of race. But you can't fathom that because you're an ignorant little racist who can't deal with the fact that japanese arts are just as good, sometimes better.
@KurtCobain198666 Yeah you know why, because your fact are wrong, when Japanese arts final fight against Chinese, always Chinese who win it unless when Japanese trying to destroy Chinese arts school, then they won because they do not fight friendly, they use sword to kills the Chinese, Japanese arts no rules they do what they likes.
@Masrider555 the origins can be traced back to China. The Chinese introduced 'te' to the Japanese during the trading period in the 1300's. Karate as it is known today was developed and crystalized by the Japanese, namely men like Matsumura Sōkon, and made popualr by masters like Gichin Funakoshi. So the origins of karate can be traced back to China, but as a system it was developed by the Japanese.
@Masrider555 I think that's an extreme mistake. I can see the benefit of wing chun in a street fight, but the chinese martial arts tend to be softer and more flowery. If you placed a kung fu expert against a 1200's samurai, who were experts swordsman and the developers of jujutsu, the kung fu exponent would lose. Chinese arts tend to be pretty, while Japanese systems like judo, karate, aikijujutsu tend to be more crush, kill, destroy. And karate was developed by the Japanese!
@KurtCobain198666 Do not looked down on Chinese like that, don't forget Chinese the first who create Martial Arts after that Japan take over, Chinese got many kinds of Martial Arts you think Chinese Kung Fu not as fears as Japanese? well Chinese Kung Fu never rush and kill, we just fight for protection not to showoff but still Kung Fu got more ways of attacking and defend.
@Masrider555 the first martial art was created by an indian buddhist monk who handed these systems to the chinese. China had fighting monks from the year 500 Also, historically the Japanese and the Chinese have both had the chance to test their systems. China had been occupied by foreign countries for hundreds of years and failed to defend themselves, including from the Japanese on more than one occasion (1931-45 for example)
@KurtCobain198666 indian buddhist monk? i am talking about Chinese and Japanese, and chinese never fight with indian before, only Japs who control China during WW2 the Japs come to Chinese school and kill people also try to Chinese Martial Arts schools, China is a big country with max population it is impossible to occupied even Euro and US trying to take China but they still lost the war to Chinese. Talking about the China shaolin monk are more powerful than Japs Martial Arts.
@Masrider555 you are so ignorant of history. Bodhidharma was a buddhist monk who travelled to China to study deep meditation. But he learnt that a lot of the monks in China fell asleep during meditation, so he developed a way to meditate while moving- martial arts. Chinese monks then studied these arts. Also, you're ignorantly ignoring the fact that westerners developed guns before the east, hence how they occupied China.
@KurtCobain198666 YOu are just trying to insult the Chinese, ShaoLIn monks their body are fitness Japanese Martial Arts could not defeat Shaolin unless your body are fit too, westerners do not have Martial Arts just to build guns so what still they failed to occupied China cuz Japanese defeat the westerners in WW2
@Masrider555 No, I love the chinese systems, they're very pretty. Bruce Lee is the greatest martial artist of all time. But even he used japanese martial arts when he created JKD. Where do you think the grappling came from? JKD incorporates Wing Chun, Fencing, Boxing, Savate and Jujutsu for ground fighting. Why don't you read Lee's books where he stated just that? Bruce Lee used a japanese martial art to created a core part of Jeet Kune Do,
@KurtCobain198666 You no right to say Bruce lee copy Japanese arts whill Japanese the one who use Chinese arts first to developed their own Japan arts, grappling in Chinese arts not always being use unless the enemy falling backwards, Chinese arts do not teach foreigner in the history untill Bruce Lee went to USA teach people.
@Masrider555 That just proves that the Chinese were racist about who they taught. Ueshiba taught many westerners Aikido, and regardless of size he was still able to pin them. You're arguement just became the Chinese are better because they're prejudiced about who they teach, which is nothing to be proud of. Also, Ip Man taught the first non-Chinese, since Bruce Lee was part German. You'd know that if you wasn't so ignorant.
@KurtCobain198666 German thinnk again Bruce Lee born in USA but he still Chinese race, he hate Japanese he say, only the person who is big size and fitness then can fight against Bruce Lee or IP MAN, i prond? you are the one who think wrong way i know you are jealous you love japanese girls i know very much.
@Masrider555 The Japanese won the First Sino-Japanese War, so the assumption that population means anything is a joke. If you google this war, you'd see that the Chinese had 630,000 men, and the Japanese 240,000 and yet they still won. You can spout your biast opinion, but if you did the research, you'd see that China lost the major war to Japan. The Japanese lost 1132 men, the Chinese lost 630,000. Please check it before you look ignorant, coz I will use links to prove it.
@Masrider555 if we compare Japanese occupation to the Chinese occupation by westerners, you'd see that japanese systems tend to survive and be more intact. Also, if we define which is better by which is popular, we'd see japanese systems win out. Judo, Aikido, Jujutsu, Karate- they tend to be more popular than these chinese systems. The sheer assumption that kung fu has more way to kill than japanese battlefield arts like jujutsu shows your biast on the matter.
@KurtCobain198666 You should not talk about the wars and what Martial Arts going to do with western? the reason why Chinese Martial Arts not so popular as Japan its because they do not teach foreigner only Chinese you do not know much about Chinese history now Bruce Lee had create a new Martial Arts Jeet Kune Do
@Masrider555 Why did Bruce Lee develop JKD? Because he found that basic kung fu isn't realistic. I've studied JKD with Dan Inosanto, and you know what Bruce Lee incorporated into JKD? Jujutsu! He found that most fights end on the ground, and Wing Chun has no grappling system! What are the four ranges of combat in JKD? Kicking-punching-trapping and then grappling, which Lee studied under Gene LeBell, a Judo (Japanese art) expert
@KurtCobain198666 You learn JKD? yeah like real, JKD its still Wing Chun just Bruce Lee create more ways of attacking and fitness, Japanese Martial Arts also copy from Cihnese and yet they did train fitness but Wing Chun did not do this just to train their Kung Fu skill only but Wing Chun attacking more fasters.
@Masrider555 we cant define which is better by which system is more effective sadly. The only way we know what works is UFC. Chinese systems don't get used in the ufc, but japanese systems do. As ive said, wing chun is great, but most chinese systems have no ground fighting and even Bruce Lee said most fights end on the floor. Even he admitted he just about beat a karateka because wing chun is too basic.
@KurtCobain198666 Japanese Martial Arts is then the basic of Chinese Kung Fu, Bruce Lee has told the Japs only the best Japanese Martial Arts champion then got rights to fight with Chinese Kung Fu.
@Masrider555 Japanese systems incorporate very little of chinese arts. Nearly all japanese arts (karate, judo, jujutsu, aikido) have some form of throwing and grappling, where as chinese systems are nearly exclusivly striking. As for the chinese being so powerful, you forget that Mao took over the whole of China with a rag tag group of guerillas, and over threw the government. You're stating stuff with no historical evidence, and you're just making yourself seem ignorant and biast
@KurtCobain198666 Hey hey karate isn't create by Chinese? i has since all their attacking are same as Chinese, grappling is useless, we Chinese arts fight nicely not like Japanese arts fight like gangster that is not a proper way of Martial Arts yeah i know some japs defeated the weak Chinese but they impossible to defeat Bruce Lee and IP Man.
@Masrider555 Where did you learn that it's impossible to beat Bruce Lee? Bruce Lee used to train with Gene LeBell, a Judo champion. Gene got Bruce in a choke, and he couldn't get out, so Bruce asked LeBell to teach him the basics of grappling, which he used in JKD. Have you ever read any of the books Bruce Lee wrote. Bruce Lee said himself that he used japanese systems to create JKD!
@Masrider555 It's not about fighting nicely, when you're getting attacked with broken bottles. I can tell you've never been in a real fight. In JKD, when in a street fight, it goes from kicking to grappling in less that 10 seconds, especially when there's more than one attacker. When three people rush you, you can't hit them all. Also, Ip Man never fought any Karateka, that fight was fake and they just put that in the movie, if that's what you're referring to for evidence.
@KurtCobain198666 Are you jealous? why can't you admit Chinese arts the best? Even Bruce lee's Japanese friend also prefer to learn Chinese arts now he old still teaching the western in italy, you just think low of Chinese arts, ok talk whatever you like i hsow the videos you also don't believe me.
@Masrider555 No, that's your problem. I don't think little of Chinese arts. I explained how I think they're very effective. The centre line theory is very scientific for example. But the way you state that all chinese systems are better than all japanese systems is pure ignorance. You also called japanese people 'devils' on another video, which makes you seem like nothing more than a racist fanatic. I can show you just as many vids of japanese beating chinese systems, get over it.
@KurtCobain198666 I scold the Japs only if they do bad things do you know how many times he Japanese insult Chinese?, yeah i saw a Chinese get bully by JAPS PROTESTERS looked at how cowards they are no guts to fight in China, Japan deserve us to call them Japs
@Masrider555 you just lost the arguement. You're stating that China is better purely because you don't like the Japanese. Your arguement that Chinese are better than Japanese is based on racism. I'm not stating the Japanese are better, I'm stating that I prefer Japanese systems, because they tend to be more direct and less flowery. My arguement is not based on race, yours is. You're nothing but an angry, racist bigot, with delesuions of grandeur.
@Masrider555 I can show you just as many vids of japanese beating chinese systems, get over it. Also, I can tell you now that Grace Ho (Bruce Lee's mother) was half German, which makes Bruce Lee part German. Why don't you google it to check before you say I'm wrong? It's even on wikipedia. I've read Bruce Lee's biography 'Fighting Spirit' by Bruce Thomas, so don't call me wrong when I know I'm right. Check first, Lee was part German.
@KurtCobain198666 Part of German? so what going to do with a dead people? i did saw Japanese came to chinese arts school to kills the Chinese with swords.
Guy in the White Gi's style is Karate, the poor excuse for a Drunken Style Kung Fu fighter is the one in blue.
Karate is a Japanese art influenced by Ancient Chinese Kung fu ( as most to almost all - arts are)
The guy in blue has too much mindset focused on the presentation of his art. Stumbling around without purpose, allowing for calculated and timed kicks from his opponent.
Those kung fu fighters made me very sad. They were able to capture the kicking leg on multiple occasions and never once capitalized with a take down. Especially with drunken style, it would seem natural to grab the kick and stumble backwards to throw the opponent off his center of gravity, then return with an attack...
Well seeing as it is against a karateka that is way harder then it looks. Not saying that anything is better then the other, But karate focus allot of training on exactly that, keeping the center of gravity where they want it.
this is just a demonstration, this is not true and not true karate kung fu, I am trained karateka and at least 6 hours per day, at my peak, I believe that any martial art can be effective training a little more than just go in the gym, if I train 1 or 2 hours a day, I do not speak that karate training
why tekken 3 tekken 5 and 6 is also good and wang is there he is one of my favourite characters but marshall law comes first because he is like bbruce lee
This isn't true kung fu, I've seen the real thing and this is a joke. the guys fighting kung fu don't reaaly seem to know how, and they're just trying imitate what they've seen jackie chan do in his movies. Real Kung Fu would waste Karate.
@Ufollowme2 I think that is an over-generalization; Kung Fu can mean any Chinese fighting art from Shaolin to Wing Chun. Karate also has many distinct styles as well. Although I agree; in this case the karateka was more skilled and it wasn't a fair match.
@Ufollowme2 yeah, and i am pretty sure that if there were a video where a kungfu guy kicked the ass of a karate guy somebody would say too: this is not true karate, the guy fightin with karate doesnt know nothing bout karate, a real karate guy would kick that kungfu fighter to a pulp!!! LOL
by the way does anyone remember that promotiion were girls did taekwondo and one girl was crouching and the other jumoed on her back to jump highr in the air and destroy a wooden board on the ceiling.. somehow that taekwondo girls really turn me on.... cant you get me one??? or a chinese girl??? i would take a japanese also.. i love neda but i need a gf i will never see neda again anyway so what does it make for a difference
LOL DONT WORRY I DONT WANT HER BUT I EVEN THOUGHT I SAW THE JAPANESE GIRL WATCHING ROFL:: IM SO CRAZY:: BUT SERIOUSLY KUNG FU IS STRONGER:: I THINK EVEN THAT SNALL REALLY FAST KOREAN TAEKWONDO GIRLS COULD BEAT EVERY KARATEKA:: I LIKE JAPANESE CULTURE AS WELL BUT I THINK KARATE IS OVERRATED:::
i practice kung fu but damn kyokushin you scary......but in all seriousness it's the fighter not the style & all of these Karateka were on their game.
i practice kung fu but damn kyokushin you scary......but in all seriousness it's the fighter not the style & all of these Karateka were on their game.
Karate rulez. I know, that wins the human, not the style, but It looks like the kung-fu guys dont know, what to do with legs... Besides, the kung-fu punches wasn't powerfull, i think they are training too much forms, instead do sparring with partners...
You can't even judge who is better on this video-- not being able to grab is a huge disadvantage for the Kung fu practitioners. They could have thrown the Karate people on their asses multiple times, but the rules prevent them from doing so, making it a terrible fight. Grabbing and throwing kicks are essential counters to kicks and can't be restricted, especially vs a kicking style.
What can be said is that the kung fu guy did a good job of minizing the effects of the kyokushin guy's techniques. He only fell once and used his footwork, head and torso movement to avoid being completely affected by the heavy blows.
I was under the impression that drunken style is only supposed to give the illusion that you are drunk. If the other guy knows you're definitely not drunk then its not going to work because he won't be under estimating you.
I tend to agree, though I'm not expert. These guys seem to have almost no training let alone kyokushin. They can't block, or attack. Though they are taking the hits well....jezz

Masrider555 1 month ago

Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 OK i'll send you video links of chinese fighters getting knocked down by japanese fighters, is that what you want? But you're so racist and full of hate. You need to stop blaming Japan for killing Chinese. Need I remind you, that the biggest mass murderer in China was Chinese! Remember when Mao Zedong was responsible for starving, executing, and torturing 50,000,000 Chinese people. Google his name you fool, he killed more than the Japanese ever did!

What is Kyokushin is that a person's name?
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 If you wasn't ignorant, you'd know Kyokushin is a branch of Karate. Also stating that Chinese arts always beat Japanese arts is so thick, you're just a racist fool. Chinese and Japanese arts are just as good, but I prefer Japanese arts because they tend to be more well rounded. The art depends on the fighter and preference, neither countries produce better arts.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 I asking you is that a person name or the arts name? how many kinds of Karate in Japan? you prefer Japanese arts because Karate are popular than Chinese arts, if Bruce Lee still alive, all the Karate sure suffer.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 There's quite a few styles of Karate- Shotokan, Wado-Ryu, Kyuoshinkan, Goju Ryu etc. It's got nothing to do with popularity. It's the fact that Japanese systems were proven on the battllefied time and again, and most Japanese martia; arts can be traced back to those battlefield arts. I showed you vids of tournaments, you show me scenes from movies where the fights aren't even real!!
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 You think movies are always fake? fine why dun you go Hong Kong or ShaoLin there to fight with them if you win the Chinese then you talk big, all you shown me they did not show fully real fight all they do is defend and kicks only boring
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 You're not listening. Bruce Lee loved Japanese systems. He used throws and joint locks from Jujutsu and put them into Jeet Kune Do. Bruce Lee said that real fights end on the ground, and Chinese systems don't use ground fighting, which is why a Judo expert beat Bruce Lee when they sparred (Gene LeBell). If you read any of Lee's books, or studied JKD you'd know that all the grappling comes from Judo, Jujutsu, or BJJ. And BJJ was created by a Judo expert, Helio Gracie.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Bruce Lee love Japanese arts? He use all Japanese arts to create Jeet Kune Do? are you telling me that without Japanese arts there is no JKD? before Bruce lee learn Judo he has complete boxing, Karate and Judo by Wing Chun, Bruce Lee pass Wing Chun to Japanese arts too that is how develop about and he said the reason why Chinese arts develop so slow is because lack of commerciate.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 Bruce Lee never studied Karate you fool. In fact he had a sign in his school saying 'show me a classical karateka and i'll show you a dead man.' The only Japanese systems he studied were Jujutsu and Judo. I didn't say Lee used all Japanese arts. I'm saying Lee used Jujustu and Judo to develop the ground fighting in JKD. JKD is made up of Wing Chun, Boxing, Fencing, Judo and Jujutsu.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 i didn't say he learn Karate, i say he has defeated Karate boxing Judo and Thailand Boxing, Karate is part of Chinese he dun need to learn also can is up to him, Bruce Lee develop new arts for Chinese JKD is the no.1 arts, same as Japanese take karate as Japan arts for develop.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 do you not understand that without Japanese arts, Jeet Kune Do wouldn't exist? Lee needed to study ground fighting, because he used to train with Gene LeBell a Judo master. Lee couldn't get near Gene because whenever he did, Gene grappled him and threw him down. Thats when Lee saw that arts like Judo and Jujutsu were important for street fights, because real fights usually go to the ground. Thats why JKD is wing chun, fencing, boxing, judo and jujutsu.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Even without Japanese arts Bruce lee would use Thai Boxing as combin with wing chun, when did you saw Bruce lee learn fencing? Bruce lee is better than Gene LeBell in fighting but Bruce lee still respect him as his teacher, at least Bruce lee can create a new chinese arts that is world no.1 it dose not matter you are copy from which arts as well you can create your own arts can defeat other arts that is the fact.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 You have no idea about anything! Do you even study martial arts? Bruce Lee studied Western Boxing, Wing Chun and a bit of grappling. He also owned thousands of books on martial arts. That's where he got his knowledge of fencing from. He used the footword from fencing, mixed it with the boxing footword for different situations. Thai boxing has terrible footwork compared to western boxing, it would be too rigid to apply any JKD 'techniques.'
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Thai Boxer is full of body fitness even Japanese arts could not beat Thai Boxing even if you use grapping what have you got to say? foot movement is Bruce Lee own create it is Dancing way of move
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 The footwork in JKD comes from Boxing. Why would Lee used dancing as footworkd for JKD when in the Tao of Jeet Kune Do he wrote "Footwork in Jeet Kune Do tends to aim towards simplication with a minimum of movement." He used Boxing and Fencing footword because he liked the lunges and smaller stance. There's no dancing in JKD, Bruce only knew the Cha Cha and that would be useless as a form of footwork. You know nothing of Bruce Lee. Do you even own all his books?
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 own your craps, you do not know how useful is Cha Cha move, you can use cha cha easy for the kicks, buying books to learn is unless human different brains if you wants to fight, better choose the best fighter, dun choose beginner like this video, the real JKD attacks you cannot even see it.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 So you're saying that you can't learn from books?! There's no cha cha in Jeet Kune Do! Bruce Lee stated in HIS BOOK that the footwork comes from boxing and fencing. You keep stating how Bruce was amazing, but you don't know anything! What martial art do you study, who is your teacher, and how long have you been studying? I bet you don't even answer all three of those questions, because you know nothing. You only know stuff from the movies, you're pathetic haha
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago

Masrider555 1 month ago

Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 If you've got his books you'd know that Bruce Lee used Japanese martial arts in JKD! You keep going on about Bruce Lee, when he trained with, and used Japanese martial arts. If you read Bruce Lee: Jeet Kune Do, you'd know he listed all the merits of the Japanese systems. This isn't the Tao of Jeet Kune Do, It's just called 'Jeet Kune Do' its all the stuff that was edited out the Tao. Did you ask if I want to fight you? How old are you hahahaha you little man!! LOL!!

KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Why you change your topic into war? in the histroy of Chinese only Mao can take care of Chinese to defend Japanese, mao's wife who is the one who create protest after mao past away, they send his wife to hang death because of her crime did you know this? don't know.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 Mao was the one who ordered a high percentage of the population to work in fields. He was the one who executed millions during the Cultural Revolution. Mao caused the greatest man made famine in history between the years of 1959-61 which killed millions. Between 1966-69 11 million died in Mao's Cultural Revolution, when schools and colleges were closed, and intellects were executed. Try reading 'Mao's Great Famine' by Frank Dikotter.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 mao didn't execute people. he just caused widespread nationalism amongst the people that would lead to many murders and deaths. you are right though, mao reacted too slow in taking preventative measures for the great famine, but you also must take into account that the death tolls are exaggerated for effect in any resource. also, working in fields wasn't bad because everyone knew it was for the country and that was a good enough reason for them. my family was sent to the fields
ilykbears 1 month ago
@ilykbears In 1959 alone 4,500 people were killed for one random or another. The fact that your family were in the fields, and didn't witness executions mean nothing. The death tolls were recorded by the Chinese government, and was one of the reasons that Deng Xiaoping sought to undo Mao's work. The famine was caused by Mao, who took little pity on the millions of starving people. Mao didn't care for lives, being more interested in experimenting with economy and farming.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@ilykbears Then there's the Cultural Revolution Over four hundred thousand people were relocated to the countryside for hard labor. In Beijing for example, 8,500 people were exiled to their legal address on the family registry, 1,700 people were killed, and more than 30,000 households were raided. Saying Mao didn't kill people is like saying Hitler didn't kill because neither pulled the triggers themselves. Mao planned, and encouraged others to kill en masse
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 ehh im not too sure about what you are saying. yes mao was a stern and at times cruel man, but you have to understand that he was trying to break the dynasty cycle, which was thousands of years old. i understand that he ordered executions and made quite a few mistakes that would cost many lives, but it was all to make sure that the majority of the population would keep their faith in the government. otherwise the masses would revolt and overthrow the new government.
ilykbears 1 month ago
@ilykbears I understand the death of one for the greater good, but to excuse the deaths of thousands 'for the greater good' is sheer insanity. Was Stalin's or Hitler's actions for the benefit of a majority? No, neither was Mao's. Also, the famine was Mao's fault. It was his policies like planting crops closer together, that led to famine. Also, Mao didn't reverse any policies to combat the famine. He chose to press on rather than admit he was wrong.

KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Let me get this clear, i am not racist, i just telling you what i agree and what i disagree with you, you just dun understand Chinese arts, Japanese arts is very easy to learn and easy to attack than Chinese, you must get someone of the Chinese arts to give you drill punch attack into your body then you can feel the pain, now full of western are learning Wing chun the only western with different mind is you.

KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Hap Ki Do and Aikido are the same grab and push or make cycle turn, but Hap Ki Do did have some Wing Chun attack, Wing chun also have cycle turn, locks and grab Chinese dun use grab as daily wing chun is about speed drill punch can Japanese do that?
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 you're so ignorant. Hap Ki Do doesn't even use basic ideas from Wing Chun. It wouldn't be possible because the stance in HKD is not a centre line stance meaning Wing Chun attacks would be nearly impossible, due to hip placement not being the same. HKD is a mixture of high kicks with variations on aikijujutsu throws. Did you just ask me if the Japanese couldn't think of speed drills just because they're Japanese?
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 I mean Hap Ki Do attacking abit same as Wing Chun looked at the way their punch speed, High kicks Chinese arts also have, oh yeah Japanese can do Lbow foot attack but for Chinese's drill kicks is all the way foot kicks.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 And I study Aikido. I can tell you that it's not about push or pull. Sometimes people grab you and hold you still, but they can still be thrown. Aikido uses the centre of gravity, and maintaining ki to control the attacker. Sometimes you don't even have to touch to stop an attacker, so it's not about push/pull at all. The founder of HKD never practiced Wing Chun, I can tell you now the attacks are entirely different.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Stop telling me you study this study that, how i can trust you, is that so heavy for grabbing someone like the cycle turn? i did saw they using push to make the enemy fall down then he grab i less see Aikido using punch attack, thrown is like WWE when carry you up then thrown you down LOLs
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 I respect Chinese systems, but the Japanese train just as hard. Look at Kyokushin karate, whem Oyama fought a hundred man kumite. Now every one who practices Kyokushin has to perfrom a hundred man kumite to grade. All martial artists train just as hard, in difficult situations, regardless of race. But you can't fathom that because you're an ignorant little racist who can't deal with the fact that japanese arts are just as good, sometimes better.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Yeah you know why, because your fact are wrong, when Japanese arts final fight against Chinese, always Chinese who win it unless when Japanese trying to destroy Chinese arts school, then they won because they do not fight friendly, they use sword to kills the Chinese, Japanese arts no rules they do what they likes.

I heard people says Karate create by Chinese is this true?
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 the origins can be traced back to China. The Chinese introduced 'te' to the Japanese during the trading period in the 1300's. Karate as it is known today was developed and crystalized by the Japanese, namely men like Matsumura Sōkon, and made popualr by masters like Gichin Funakoshi. So the origins of karate can be traced back to China, but as a system it was developed by the Japanese.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Karate create by Chinese yeah now is under Japan, but still chinese Martial Arts the best.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 I think that's an extreme mistake. I can see the benefit of wing chun in a street fight, but the chinese martial arts tend to be softer and more flowery. If you placed a kung fu expert against a 1200's samurai, who were experts swordsman and the developers of jujutsu, the kung fu exponent would lose. Chinese arts tend to be pretty, while Japanese systems like judo, karate, aikijujutsu tend to be more crush, kill, destroy. And karate was developed by the Japanese!
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago

KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 indian buddhist monk? i am talking about Chinese and Japanese, and chinese never fight with indian before, only Japs who control China during WW2 the Japs come to Chinese school and kill people also try to Chinese Martial Arts schools, China is a big country with max population it is impossible to occupied even Euro and US trying to take China but they still lost the war to Chinese. Talking about the China shaolin monk are more powerful than Japs Martial Arts.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 you are so ignorant of history. Bodhidharma was a buddhist monk who travelled to China to study deep meditation. But he learnt that a lot of the monks in China fell asleep during meditation, so he developed a way to meditate while moving- martial arts. Chinese monks then studied these arts. Also, you're ignorantly ignoring the fact that westerners developed guns before the east, hence how they occupied China.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 YOu are just trying to insult the Chinese, ShaoLIn monks their body are fitness Japanese Martial Arts could not defeat Shaolin unless your body are fit too, westerners do not have Martial Arts just to build guns so what still they failed to occupied China cuz Japanese defeat the westerners in WW2
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 No, I love the chinese systems, they're very pretty. Bruce Lee is the greatest martial artist of all time. But even he used japanese martial arts when he created JKD. Where do you think the grappling came from? JKD incorporates Wing Chun, Fencing, Boxing, Savate and Jujutsu for ground fighting. Why don't you read Lee's books where he stated just that? Bruce Lee used a japanese martial art to created a core part of Jeet Kune Do,
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 You no right to say Bruce lee copy Japanese arts whill Japanese the one who use Chinese arts first to developed their own Japan arts, grappling in Chinese arts not always being use unless the enemy falling backwards, Chinese arts do not teach foreigner in the history untill Bruce Lee went to USA teach people.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 That just proves that the Chinese were racist about who they taught. Ueshiba taught many westerners Aikido, and regardless of size he was still able to pin them. You're arguement just became the Chinese are better because they're prejudiced about who they teach, which is nothing to be proud of. Also, Ip Man taught the first non-Chinese, since Bruce Lee was part German. You'd know that if you wasn't so ignorant.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 German thinnk again Bruce Lee born in USA but he still Chinese race, he hate Japanese he say, only the person who is big size and fitness then can fight against Bruce Lee or IP MAN, i prond? you are the one who think wrong way i know you are jealous you love japanese girls i know very much.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 The Japanese won the First Sino-Japanese War, so the assumption that population means anything is a joke. If you google this war, you'd see that the Chinese had 630,000 men, and the Japanese 240,000 and yet they still won. You can spout your biast opinion, but if you did the research, you'd see that China lost the major war to Japan. The Japanese lost 1132 men, the Chinese lost 630,000. Please check it before you look ignorant, coz I will use links to prove it.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Anyway you here just to talk about war, you came to the wrong page
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 if we compare Japanese occupation to the Chinese occupation by westerners, you'd see that japanese systems tend to survive and be more intact. Also, if we define which is better by which is popular, we'd see japanese systems win out. Judo, Aikido, Jujutsu, Karate- they tend to be more popular than these chinese systems. The sheer assumption that kung fu has more way to kill than japanese battlefield arts like jujutsu shows your biast on the matter.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 You should not talk about the wars and what Martial Arts going to do with western? the reason why Chinese Martial Arts not so popular as Japan its because they do not teach foreigner only Chinese you do not know much about Chinese history now Bruce Lee had create a new Martial Arts Jeet Kune Do
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 Why did Bruce Lee develop JKD? Because he found that basic kung fu isn't realistic. I've studied JKD with Dan Inosanto, and you know what Bruce Lee incorporated into JKD? Jujutsu! He found that most fights end on the ground, and Wing Chun has no grappling system! What are the four ranges of combat in JKD? Kicking-punching-trapping and then grappling, which Lee studied under Gene LeBell, a Judo (Japanese art) expert
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 You learn JKD? yeah like real, JKD its still Wing Chun just Bruce Lee create more ways of attacking and fitness, Japanese Martial Arts also copy from Cihnese and yet they did train fitness but Wing Chun did not do this just to train their Kung Fu skill only but Wing Chun attacking more fasters.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 we cant define which is better by which system is more effective sadly. The only way we know what works is UFC. Chinese systems don't get used in the ufc, but japanese systems do. As ive said, wing chun is great, but most chinese systems have no ground fighting and even Bruce Lee said most fights end on the floor. Even he admitted he just about beat a karateka because wing chun is too basic.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Japanese Martial Arts is then the basic of Chinese Kung Fu, Bruce Lee has told the Japs only the best Japanese Martial Arts champion then got rights to fight with Chinese Kung Fu.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 Japanese systems incorporate very little of chinese arts. Nearly all japanese arts (karate, judo, jujutsu, aikido) have some form of throwing and grappling, where as chinese systems are nearly exclusivly striking. As for the chinese being so powerful, you forget that Mao took over the whole of China with a rag tag group of guerillas, and over threw the government. You're stating stuff with no historical evidence, and you're just making yourself seem ignorant and biast
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Hey hey karate isn't create by Chinese? i has since all their attacking are same as Chinese, grappling is useless, we Chinese arts fight nicely not like Japanese arts fight like gangster that is not a proper way of Martial Arts yeah i know some japs defeated the weak Chinese but they impossible to defeat Bruce Lee and IP Man.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 Where did you learn that it's impossible to beat Bruce Lee? Bruce Lee used to train with Gene LeBell, a Judo champion. Gene got Bruce in a choke, and he couldn't get out, so Bruce asked LeBell to teach him the basics of grappling, which he used in JKD. Have you ever read any of the books Bruce Lee wrote. Bruce Lee said himself that he used japanese systems to create JKD!
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Before Bruce Lee learn juDo he has already defeated JuDo by using Wing Chun also the Tai Boxing
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 It's not about fighting nicely, when you're getting attacked with broken bottles. I can tell you've never been in a real fight. In JKD, when in a street fight, it goes from kicking to grappling in less that 10 seconds, especially when there's more than one attacker. When three people rush you, you can't hit them all. Also, Ip Man never fought any Karateka, that fight was fake and they just put that in the movie, if that's what you're referring to for evidence.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Are you jealous? why can't you admit Chinese arts the best? Even Bruce lee's Japanese friend also prefer to learn Chinese arts now he old still teaching the western in italy, you just think low of Chinese arts, ok talk whatever you like i hsow the videos you also don't believe me.
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 No, that's your problem. I don't think little of Chinese arts. I explained how I think they're very effective. The centre line theory is very scientific for example. But the way you state that all chinese systems are better than all japanese systems is pure ignorance. You also called japanese people 'devils' on another video, which makes you seem like nothing more than a racist fanatic. I can show you just as many vids of japanese beating chinese systems, get over it.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 I scold the Japs only if they do bad things do you know how many times he Japanese insult Chinese?, yeah i saw a Chinese get bully by JAPS PROTESTERS looked at how cowards they are no guts to fight in China, Japan deserve us to call them Japs
Masrider555 1 month ago
@Masrider555 you just lost the arguement. You're stating that China is better purely because you don't like the Japanese. Your arguement that Chinese are better than Japanese is based on racism. I'm not stating the Japanese are better, I'm stating that I prefer Japanese systems, because they tend to be more direct and less flowery. My arguement is not based on race, yours is. You're nothing but an angry, racist bigot, with delesuions of grandeur.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@Masrider555 I can show you just as many vids of japanese beating chinese systems, get over it. Also, I can tell you now that Grace Ho (Bruce Lee's mother) was half German, which makes Bruce Lee part German. Why don't you google it to check before you say I'm wrong? It's even on wikipedia. I've read Bruce Lee's biography 'Fighting Spirit' by Bruce Thomas, so don't call me wrong when I know I'm right. Check first, Lee was part German.
KurtCobain198666 1 month ago
@KurtCobain198666 Part of German? so what going to do with a dead people? i did saw Japanese came to chinese arts school to kills the Chinese with swords.

Guy in the White Gi's style is Karate, the poor excuse for a Drunken Style Kung Fu fighter is the one in blue.
Karate is a Japanese art influenced by Ancient Chinese Kung fu ( as most to almost all - arts are)
The guy in blue has too much mindset focused on the presentation of his art. Stumbling around without purpose, allowing for calculated and timed kicks from his opponent.
This video is an injustice to his art...=\

SingLung666 2 months ago
Those kung fu fighters made me very sad. They were able to capture the kicking leg on multiple occasions and never once capitalized with a take down. Especially with drunken style, it would seem natural to grab the kick and stumble backwards to throw the opponent off his center of gravity, then return with an attack...
janusmagus 2 months ago
@janusmagus
Well seeing as it is against a karateka that is way harder then it looks. Not saying that anything is better then the other, But karate focus allot of training on exactly that, keeping the center of gravity where they want it.

This isn't true kung fu, I've seen the real thing and this is a joke. the guys fighting kung fu don't reaaly seem to know how, and they're just trying imitate what they've seen jackie chan do in his movies. Real Kung Fu would waste Karate.
Ufollowme2 4 months ago
@Ufollowme2 I think that is an over-generalization; Kung Fu can mean any Chinese fighting art from Shaolin to Wing Chun. Karate also has many distinct styles as well. Although I agree; in this case the karateka was more skilled and it wasn't a fair match.
Dinoenthusiastguy 4 months ago
@Ufollowme2 yeah, and i am pretty sure that if there were a video where a kungfu guy kicked the ass of a karate guy somebody would say too: this is not true karate, the guy fightin with karate doesnt know nothing bout karate, a real karate guy would kick that kungfu fighter to a pulp!!! LOL

PortMourant2008 6 months ago
I was under the impression that drunken style is only supposed to give the illusion that you are drunk. If the other guy knows you're definitely not drunk then its not going to work because he won't be under estimating you.
