  • its not that hard pleating the dumpling 0:35 u made it look as if it was a challenge.. yes but its darn simple.. just fold them if you dont know how to pleat them

  • what flour do you use? everytime i use all purpose flour it turns yellowy

  • It IS yellow.. but when you cook it it turns sort of clearlike.. thats how you know it's done cooking :) well.. when you boil it, idk about frying :)

  • RECIPE!!!

  • 2 cups all purpose flour, a pinch of salt 1 cup of boiling water. Stir with fork until shaggy and when cool enough to handle knead for five minutes. Allow to rest at room temp for 20 minute or so and roll..

    2c flour

    1/2 c warm water

    2 Cups all purpose flour

    1/2 Cup warm water

  • Wrappers that you buy do not work properly, they NEVER stick to themselves like in the different 'how to' videos I've seen, it always comes loose and just makes a mess.

    the dough is very easy to make. I have made 2 vids about chinese dumplings too. and I posted the complete recipe in english and chinese in the description. There you can also read how to make the dough.

  • you buy the dough and you buy ground pork,muchrooms,and green onion and mix it together for the filling

  • I have made 2 videos about chinese dumplings. I also posted recipes how to make the dough and the filling. just check the videos.

  • the dough is just flour + water, rowed in to strips the pulled of in to balls then use the stick to make the flate. the fillings r bacitly thing u want and oil

  • You can steam dumplings but you should put wax paper, or lettuce/cabbage leaves, at the bottom of the steamer to keep the from sticking. Also, leave a bit of space between the dumpling or they will still to each other.

  • well it really depends on your time and if you want a high quality dumpling too fast and your dumpling will be wrong allways some way

  • @DearestPanda Its easy. Take all purpose flour or refined wheat flour. Add some salt according to your taste. Slowly add enough water to make a dough not too soft as it may collapse after filling. That's how you make a dumpling dough.

  • basically have ground meat, ginger , salt, oil, pepper, chopped scallions, then u mix all the ingredients and then wrap it with the dumpling skin, and boil it [ u know its cooked when the dumbplings are floating instead of being on the bottom of the pot ]
