Tard that knob you turn on your head unit is an a variable resistor that controls the amp inside of it. Without an amp it is impossible to play music that is hearable.

@pm1935 Your grammar and spelling are about as good as your arguement. That is your sound output you are boosting. That way it has an output to the speaker. But yes okay I know you mean an amp different than the head unit but why didn't you just put that? And clear up the sound in your basslines? If you're talking about distortion then you obviously don't know what you're talking about. On top of that. I'm not hating at all. I'm constructively criticizing you but alright get offended.
@pm1935 that ain't clearing up your sound. and technically that is a pre amp. you still need a real amp to have true clear output plus a real crossover. all these people's post(most) are constructive criticism. Real audio enthusiast look for a head unit that plays the clearest sound output from the preamp. Based on your vid, my old pioneer plays better. not hating just stating facts.
But I must point something out. A 500w speaker just means that it can handle 500w RMS.. the wattage rating has nothing to do with how loud the speaker is inherently. The extra speakers seem louder because they are emphasizing certain frequencies. Hook up a decent amp, and make the glass rattle homie.
