  • School of Fish and Blind Melon are for sure 2 bands from the 90s that need to be right up there with Nirvana,Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, so on.... The Pop/Alternative side of the 90s was just as good as the "grunge" side. Hate to use the word grunge but you know what I mean.

  • I got the tape from Donna Donna of WDRE in 1991. I played the hell of it in my office while prepararing tax returns!!! A couple of years I picked up the CD. I love Losh's voice so comforting.

  • My absolute favorite band of all times! Desert Island for sure!

  • These guys do nothing but make me cry.

best Band of thier genre, ever

  • Not one negative comment so far, which is hardly surprising. First thing I'm going to look into buying online when I'm working again is definitely School of Fish.

  • Still as listenable as ever. A great track from a great album. I'm fifty-three years old and listening to these guys makes me feel young.

  • this album changed my life, many good memories

  • I muss my best friend, Josh. He was my best buddy in 7th grade, and I always knew he would do great things - I just wish he was still here to continue to make this incredible music!

    I love you Josh,

    David Ax

  • cant think of the name.. but can somone post.. the song tht has lyrics.. im flying over the city in a suit and tie, and dont my dog look pretty, well thats just a dogs life. hmm remember that song havnt heard it in yrs

  • Speechless. It's track #6, I believe, off the same album as this one, eponymous.

  • Josh was fantastic...with School of Fish and his solo stuff. Great voice, superb songwriting, a multi-instrumentalist and a super nice, down-to-earth person. Back around 97-98, I used to see him at a little bar in LA, West Hollywood area, around Melrose and Fairfax called Largo...cool little pub. He would have a beer with you and then hop up on stage and invite people to perform with him!

  • Hey!, anyone have the unplugged version??? Please, I am trying to find it about 15 years ago. The first time i saw the video in TBS, was the unplugged version and was magical!

  • Brings back great memories. Thanks for posting.
