Yay! I'm an English major, toooo!! Reading for class can be such a drag, especially when it's like a hundred pages for one class!! You should check out this movie, Funny Games, with Naomi Watts and Michael Pitt. It's more of a thriller type of horror, but still a great watch! :)

try evil things (2009). another found footage film/hand held camera film that i find is either loved or hated. personally it scared the crap out of me and i loved it because of that. id really like to know what you think of it! :)

so I know this must be like the 5th time I've recommended this movie, but please please please watch the japanese version of one missed call. It is seriously the scariest movie I have ever seen, and I've seen a ton.

REC is the Spanish original that Quarantine was based on. They are pretty much identical. I think REC is hard to watch after seeing Quarantine. It feels a little slow in comparison when you already know what is going to happen. I saw on Twitter recently that you watched Carriers, it is one of my favorites! I would love recommendations for more movies with a similar feel/plot.

hey, how much do you believe in that stuff? From psychology class, people either believe it as completely true and acceptable or people who say they do not believe in it, but internally they think there are some supernatural circumstances. But it is hard to state that someone completely does not believe in supernatural events and this includes belief in God.

this type of film is called "found footage" and some other examples would be Rec (which is what quarantine was based on and in my opinion much better than quarantine), cloverfield, Apollo 18, and of course the Blair Witch Project.
