Nein, Du täuschst Dich nicht! Die Adenauer war mal ziemlich verspielt, so dass auch Leute ihren Spaß hatten, die nicht so gut fahren konnten. Aber wie alles muss ja heute alles dicker, fetter, höher sein... ich verstehs auch nicht. Zumal wirklich gute Skater auch an etwas kleineren Obstacles fette Tricks machen können....

I never said we are mindblowingly good. 20 years of skateboarding does not automatically mean your skating is perfect. You need talent, good skaters who push you and good spots to skate. When I started we hadn't had all this. Today it would have been easier. Check out Lem Villemin -- he's from my city & started some years ago. Now he's a pro. Why? Talent, good skaters around him and all the parks we build for him to improve faster than we did! Anyways, too late. I still enjoyed these times!

A lot buddy! I've skated for more than 20 years - for fun! And there are enough trick which come from the 80s....

It is cool that you have more than 20 years of fun/skate experience. I too have been in the biz for over 35 years. I also ran the Gullwing skate team in the 1983/1984. The reason that i did question your "old school" is because...Twin kick street Skateboards? Snowboarding? Wakeboarding?..None of these were there! and I was there. If you want to be "Old school" you need to ride 10"/11" wide pig skates, rector pads with flyaway helmets. And you keep skating your "New school" style.

When I chose spontaneously the title for my clip I was probably thinking more in oldschool=fun and newschool=trends&competition. Well, I know thats black-white-thinking but in the end it just seemed to me that we have kept what skateboarding is about: havin fun with your friends and enjoy life. When I see the kids of today it just seems to me that they have lost the soul of asphalt surfing... it's often more about competition and trends. Anyways, thanks for your feedback! Cheers, Philipp

Haha, ja den Trick gibts wirklich. Ist ein No-Compley mit irgendeiner 180° Grad-geflippten Drehung zwischen den Beinen. Fährst Du regular? Stell Deinen hinteren Fuß ins hinterste rechte Eck Deines Tail, halb überlappend, gerade Richtung Nose zeigend, Zehenspitzen müssen auf Höhe der Achsen sein. Dann vorne absteigen und mit dem hinteren Fuß schräg nach vorne unten durchdrücken.... versuchs mal im Flat, der ist echt nicht schwer! Aber danke fürs Kompliment.

Nice Video! Bin auch Oldschoolskater und wollte schon immer wissen wie der Trick heißt bei 1:07, bei dem man boneless-mäsig das Board greift, es flipt und wieder draufspringt!?!. Hat ja schon 1989 z.B. Guy Mariano in Ban-This gemacht. Über 'ne Antwort würde ich mich freuen. Greeetz aus München!!!

Um ehrlich zu sein...ich hab keine Ahnung wie der Trick heisst. Aber zumindest mal basiert er auf einem No-Compley der eher nach oben gepoppt wird. Sobald die 180° erreicht sind Brett greifen und unter Dir weiterdrehen, draufhüpfen und grinsen. Wenn dann jemand fragt was für ein fetter Trick das war, irgenwas superenglisches engegenwerfen, z.B. Flash-Popp-Gibbon-Compley to Stereo-Foot-Landing....;o) Viel Spaß damit und Grüße nach München!

Die Parks sind hauptsächlich in Ostfildern/Scharnhäuser Park, A8 Ausfahrt Esslingen, dann Nellingen, dann Scharnhäuser Park, am besten einfach durchfragen. Der andere Park ist in Esslingen bzw. Oberesslingen direkt unter der Adenauerbrücke. Die Wakeaction war in St. Leon-Rot, A81, irgendwo zwischen Stuttgart und Frankfurt.... Gruß, Philipp
