this documentary is really helping to let go a lot of stuff i personally am dealing with. as someone who strives to be child-like and an artist.

well what about phony, manufactured stuff, marketing music? Not to say I'm a good judge of some things, but what's wrong with discerning between the two? Britney spears, Justin Timberlake, etc. These people don't even write their own music, and you think there is a spirituality in it? I disagree.

i dont think anyone is saying that britney spears and justin timberlake are spiritual, and to what your saying about these people marketing music, everyone has to survive, and this is the only way they know how to make a living, i'm sure its not making them very much money anyways, but we all have to survive, and if you can do it by doing what you love, then go them.

i think littleonehorse was misled, but its not about "freak folk" its about eternal children and cocorosie definitely are in tune with their internal child - that is eternal. btw, cocorosie are the most talented musicians i have heard in the recent years. yea!

Yeah... Joanna Newsom, Animal Collective, Six Organs of Admittance, Jeweled Antler Collective, Skygreen Leopards, Vetiver etc. all deserved a place in this documentary more than Antony (who I find extremely annoying) and CocoRosie (ditto).
