It's kind of like raising your eyebrows. In this case, Mulder was saying, "Just chill. I'm trying to help you." and then "Really? You're gonna be like that?" and then "Well that's it. I'm outta here" and that last one was, "Do you believe that guy!?!" Funny bird.

She recognized me even after it had been a while, pressed her face against my face and licked my cheek. It was very sweet and made me cry a little. I'm glad they're all happy together and that she has a good home.

Icky was not amused. He came to like the kitten though, who we named Coco Jaq. Coco Jaq is living with my friend Valerie now. I miss her terribly but I couldn't afford another pet right now. You are a VERY kind soul to the animals. I applaud your compassion. Some folks would not allow an animal with fleas, fur and claws into their home. Four years ago, I brought an un-neutered stray tomcat into the house who was of course, spraying urine. But after the operation, he settled down very well and is still here today. I don't believe he would have lived very much longer outside. He lost his voice due to too much exposure, I think, so all he can muster is a weak, gravel voice for a meow.

Yes! Isn't that sweet. He meows and he can also bark and cockadoodledoo like a rooster. And he does them in context -- barking only to dogs and doing the rooster thing in the morning when a rooster in our neighborhood used to crow. So sweet. I didn't teach him that. He just learned it.
I hope they still get along!!

The parrot is missing a lot of belly feathers. Their leaving him alone too much. Pulling feathers is a stress/anxiety behavior.
