I feel so much more comfortable in the presence of people who don't wear jeans and a t-shirt everyday and refuse the concept of manners. The world could learn a thing or two from "prep culture."
Tommy Hilfiger is a copy cat. He saw how successful Ralph Lauren Rugby is, and now he is coming out with a similar style. But of course is doesn't look as good as Ralph.
@preppychrisbou Of course they are, it's just that a Bavaria (which is the brand of that particular sailing boat) is the cheapest new boat you can buy. If you look at the interior of Bavarias, you will see that all the wooden details are actually made out of plastic and look awful. In my opinion this boat is as preppy as a pair of pink and green A&F shorts made from nylon i.e. trying hard, but still not preppy!
Preppy sailing boats would be e.g. X-yachts and Swans, hand-made, lasting quality.
