  • At 0:59 I love that engine sooooo much I'm glad that I've actually seen it in real life at the train museum in ST. Thomas.

  • I get the feeling I should have been living in th 1920's-50's sometimes...

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed the video! It is a shame to see these lines close, but it is great to know that their history can be preserved in these simulators.

  • I'd like to add one more interchange for the L & PS - the Canada Southern (1872), Michigan Central (1882), and New York Central (1929) which all ran on the Canada Southern Line in St. Thomas. Interchange of passengers and freight would happen on that line in St. Thomas where goods and passengers could directly go from the L & PS onto the NYC East or West to either Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo and New York. Thought I'd be nice and add that for everyone's benefit on the awesomeness of the L & PS.

  • Does anybody know Wayne Campbell's current email address as of May 2011. The @rogers email address I had bounces now. Please send me a private message. Thanks.

  • BRILIANT VIDEO im so getting this

  • I have a sujestion. If you create a verson 4 I think it would be great if you added in some of the old steam trains from befor it was eletrified fully. Please pass it on

  • very well done my husband watch brought memories for him as he and his mother used to ride the electric railway to st thomas from Port

  • @ilovstodance I'm glad to hear it brought back memories. If your husband already has or can find a copy of Microsoft Train Simulator, I'm sure he would enjoy driving the trains he used to ride on.

  • This is chilling to watch.I was born in St Thomas and we had a sailboat in Port Stanley in the early 1970's.My dad told me that in the early 1970's he had seen a hill coming up from the beach with old rusty weed overgrown narrow guage train tracks and had heard that there were trolley cars at one time that went up and down the hill. Now here it is at 2:01 .I am filled with emotion watching this. It is wonderful that someone took the time to make this wonderful recreation of the L&PS railway.

  • I loled after you said it was created by Wayne Campbell because I just watched Wayne's World.

  • Uploaded On My Birthday!

    And im also nick ;D

  • if u can find `em could u do a reveiw of the msts engines made to unstoppable & FIND THE BEST ROUTE FOR THEM

  • Just installed and went for a run down the route. This has got to be the best done route I have ever seen. Great job to all who help make the L& PS a great route. My rating 100%

  • Nice review! Almost makes me miss MSTS, but the more detailed routes kept crashing the graphics card on my laptop, so I uninstalled it. My pacing and cab footage of the METW looks cool in B&W. :-) Although you did spell my last name wrong in the credits (no biggie, since I wasn't expecting you to put it in there anyway!)

  • Nice choice of music! I loved how you put in "One O'Clock Jump". :)

  • My way is The Route 10000% And A Strong Platium Gold Cerication

  • I would like to see a video of the the BNSF scenic sub upgrade hat just came out. It looks like it added the SD70MAC, new rolling stock, which probably come with new activities and upgraded scenery in some spots

  • I have this route for train simulator, its an amazing route.

  • @TheCprailfan it comes as a miniroute which is a miniature version of MSTS so if you don't have MSTS you can still run this route

  • you guys should make one of it with the steam locos!!X3

  • How do the electrics get the cars from the non electrified boats

  • @MrRailroadrunner If you pause the video at 2:51, you'll see a few flatcars behind the locomotive. Those cars are used to "reach" inside the boat.

  • For what it's worth, I personally congratulate every person that worked on this magnificent project! I can only hope you share and teach those willing to bring back history of their area. Outstanding video, simply outstanding!

  • Brilliant. Simply brilliant.

  • Nice review! The scenery is amazing, even without the update! A little behind schedule though-I noticed the trailer said November 8th of last year.

  • Brilliant! Past, present, and future! The route set precedent when first released, and the update certainly tightened it up with subtle yet respectful enhancements.. Amazing job by Nick and the crew, and of course the main man - Wayne Campbell.

  • Great route!
