I didn't pay much attention to Rick back in the day, but you do this song in a way that makes me sit up and take notice.

I dunno if Rick-Rolling is meant to p*ss someone off exactly...maybe annoy someone. The Astley original is just so slick and yet bizarre at the same time. You don't expect a Bill Medley voice to come out of Archie Andrews, and then the video is like a catalog of every late-80's cliche put thru the cuisinart. There's a new version, with awesome soviet singer Eduard Khil, do a search for "Trololo".
