I'm a huge Faber fan but I gotta give Pulver respect for bein able to eat all those punches all 5 rounds and still maintain composure. I'm sure getting jacked by Faber just once is enough to make you see stars or at least wish you got knocked out after the 1st punch.

I love a fight where the winner/loser really doesn't matter, respect is gained for both. And this fight was perfect as it did just that.

Now why main stream media still doesn't cover this sport well is beyond me. Boxing is considered a "legit" sport and yet I can actually see areas where a crazy hard hitting dude would do well. And do well with no training in any martial art. I can see someone doing the same in mma......but they would've had to have trained an art. my opinion. Boxing is bs.

i think faber is the favorite...hes younger and more versed on the ground...but i usually find myself rooting for the underdogg and will be come june 1st for pulver...i know it will be fun while it last...but win lose or draw faber is here for a long time!

Faber is a buzzsaw on the ground. His only mistake would be trying to stand with Pulver. When Faber throws punches he tends to drop his head, taking his eyes off his opponent. Pulver's left hook could make him pay seriously for that. It's going to be a great fight between 2 fantastic mixed martial artists. This is MMA at its finest. Let's hope Dana-asshole-White doesn't screw up the WEC like he's screwed up the UFC.

Wow, turned out to be the opposite. Faber ate him up on their feet and Jens did o.k. on the ground, not even close to getting submitted or elbowed into unconsciousness.

Faber continues to surprise everytime he fights. Even Pulver admitted how fast he was in and out, using odd angles to punch. He definitely won the standup. Also as surprising is how well Pulver did fending off Faber on the ground. Pulver has the strength to match Faber -- that was clear -- but he wasn't adjusted yet to the speed of the much lighter weight class. He also appeared gassed by the end of Round 3. The fighters showed each other a lot of respect and look forward to the sequel.

I don't see how a fighter undefeated at Featherweight is the undergog. I can't see it. I'm from Sacramento and I want Urijah to lose. I've always been a Jens Pulver fan, always followed his work. He's a great fighter, however, Urijah is a monster. It'll be a great fight. Just don't be suprised if Jens catches Urijah and drops him early. Honestly, calling Urijah Baby Fedor is pushing it. But this'll be his toughest test to date. Opposed to being dropped by Tyson Griffin, another Sac-town native.

Don't kid yourself here. Lil is an amazing fighter and the Kid knows it better than anyone. That said, if you had the ability to look inside Faber's soul you see a giant Dragon breathing hell fire when its bothered. Urijah is the best fighter I have seen in is weightclass and has more talent then most higher weight classes .I have no doubt he will dominate pulver, just like he has done w/ every fighter he has been in the cage with (or out of)
