Terrible! Awful Look! The titles are cheap and tacky, but suit the tabloid image of ITV News!

The presenting style is horrendous! But again matches the tabloid image of the programme!

The only trouble is they have reduced the creditation of their regional programmes too! The regional variation is just as bad, if not worse! And what is the obsestion of ending all the 6pm programmes with Tonight?

Some lessons should be learnt from this terrible waste of ITV money!

This look and sound of the News At Ten is pants and incredibly shit! I would have gone RIGHT BACK and modelled the prog/titles and music on the old ITN News At Ten look in the 60's!

looks cheap and unprofessional, but fits with ITV's tendancy to sensationalise and make gossip stories into news, i preferred ITV news back in early 2000s, looked good, start up music was good, as was reporting and presenting

I'm someone who doesn't like change, and it always annoys me when things that have been done in a certain way are changed - like changing well-established theme tunes that are a 'trademark'. But to be honest, after at first being irritated that anyone felt a change was necessary; I've decided I really like this arrangement! It's far more dramatic - and I particularly like the camera scanning massive shots of who's to feature in the News, which makes it more interesting. I really like it!

The make over is cheap basic and i prefer the flyover to big ben and the classic theme. i don't know why it got changed and the previous one didn't have a long innings.

Wow! Really cool and impressive opening titles. The way the computer graphics are mixed with the actual IRL newsdesk reminds me a little of how the BBC News graphics looked like in the mid-90's. I like this! However, I do understand that many people miss the old London flyover and Big Ben graphics, but change is good and vitalizing too! And Big Ben will surely return someday in the future... :)

I really disklike the new visuals, music and general presentation.

The last style we had was so much better...

The London flyover was amazing and I loved it. The music was so much more distinctive. This new style has made a great national news now look like a tacky regional news show.

I'm not impressed. Please bring back the London flyover at least, even if you incorporate it into the new concept!

Im not sure about this...Shows how much tv I watch as I wasnt aware they had chaged the format. Fresh new look is ok, but I still like the London images. Everyone knows the news came from London and how can ITV justify spending money on a news revamp when they are trying to save money because they are losing it like water down a pug hole. All the ITV local regions they cahnged on the grounds of saving money then they go and do this. What a farce.

they had to make it less london-based to make it appeal more to non-londoners. and more yellow to give it more of an itv look. my dad worked on these and he agrees the old ones (which he also worked on) were a lot better

What's the point of spending the best part of a year reintroducing the News At Ten brand, only to end up scrapping it for a genric ITV brand?

Leave the nationalised feel to the Beeb. If you're wanting to bring humanity to your broadcasts you'd keep it both regional and known... aka, News At Ten.

Also too much yellow... and why they needed to make it CGI when nothing's moving or impossible to build, I don't understand.

@ChalkeyProductions no i you notice the before Daybreak &1:30 & 6:30 broadcast have a shorter intro and end whislt the news at 10 always has the longest one i like the music its more 2010 than the 2005 sounding music to be played on is imbarassing ofr the uk show we can't modernise

The only reason i  have ever watched news at ten is because it followed on from another program, at least now the grating music will remind me to turn over.

Even the way the announcer says the programme's name is different. He puts more emphasis on 'ITV News... at Ten', than 'ITV... News at Ten'.

This so called -revamp' is appalling !! What was wrong with the Jan2008 re-launch ? If this was to appeal to more Scottish viewers you will loose them, as when the camera is on close up zoom it cuts off Scotland !! How rude. I will be switching back to BBC quality news - They should bring on Huw Edwards + Emily Maitlas dual anchor - that would bring in the viewers !

I don't live in London, yet I didn't feel 'excluded' or whatever the hell ITV said, by the Big Ben opening titles and theme (that they had used for decades). Although I don't dilike this, I don't understand why they have binned a perfectly established and recognised brand.

I just don't understand ITV. Only last year they finally had the sense to bring back News at Ten in its unique, winning format. Its style was spot on for the late evening news. Now we have this bland, generic set which feels like the double yellow lines painters have gone crazy on. Looks like I'll be off back to BBC for the news.
