  • how do i get that "wavy/twangy kinda spring like sound"?

  • Great playing.

  • The Didge sounds great, I am teaching my 9 year old son to play have a listen at Dangerous Davo on Didge

  • Aboriginal culture is the oldest living culture on earth, i think maybe didgeridoo was around before a drum even though we use alot of percussion in our traditional music.

  • if you muted this you might think he ways lighting up. ha

  • DAMN this guy is good. Not all show-offy and tricky, just plain old-fashion good-tyme didgeridooin'. So tasteful and his friggin' breathing is flawless! He barely even moves his cheeks.

  • this guys vocals are freickin awesome

  • I went to Cairns two years ago and saw the same guy haha

  • To be a good didgeridoo player you have to learn to circulatory breathe. It's hella hard:p.

  • @TheAnti1337 isn't that the only way to play? and omg. it is soo hard. can you play?

  • bagpipes, drums, didgerodoo's, flutes. the most basic and oldest instruments made from nature sound the most beautiful.

  • and the earliest profession, maybe farming , or carpentry.

  • everyone knows the earliest profesion was prostitution :P

  • not at all.

  • That's really cool man. What will the Australians think up next?

  • "next"? This stuff has been going around for thousands of years. For all we know, this is the most ancient instrument ever played by man.

  • im just saying mabye they will some day come up with some other cool stuff. no offense intended.

  • aside from percussion, id have to agree.

  • i believe that the earliest instrument would be vocals.

  • @UL439 i think the first musical instrument played by Man is the drum.

  • @Tsezabul1er Maybe ....both of them were brought together to make music at the same time!!!

  • @UL439 im pretty sure the drum came first people like to bang on things

  • @nonicknamekid2010 I can't imagine the drum being very old, it is quite complex to figure it out and build one! But I would agree that simply banging on a log with a piece of something is probably the most primitive way of making sounds that we have seen. In fact, how do you harvest a didgeridoo? You would bang on the logs until you find one that sounds void :)

  • @UL439 drums were

  • Derp, drums ...

  • @UL439 no lol, the first instruments were only rythmic (drums or something like that) after that you have instruments with air.

  • it is great instrument , but is not the most ancient. in Europe arheologyst dyscoverd one flute 35,000 years old. sorry man! and ther is more to dyscover.

  • so awesome. i dont know why but when i hear didjerridoos i start roaring with laughter you made my night!

  • thank you mr. descriptive :D

  • watch and learn , he is not playing any sacred sounds, just some fun he' got some law at work..

  • is that right dazza,,,

  • yeah it sure it is, notice he isn't tryin to play tricky, just laid back and simple with proper respect.. listen and learn.... how to play in public...

  • lol i saw this guy like a week ago in kuranda .. he's a good player!

  • Hey this looks like Kuranda??? Hmmm, i miss it there

  • excellent

  • so good x

  • This is a bloodwood Eucalyptus didgeridoo. This is the second best quality.

The very best is the Stringybark variety from Arnhem Land!

  • amazing! I think he is trying to imitate the vocalisation of a bird (parrot, cockatoo etc).

  • great didge playing..
