I agree on both counts, but John Legend's vocalizations, particularly from 3:25 to 4:10, are what save this track. :) I dunno, but Kanye's rap here seemed sub-par in comparison to most of his other work. Less ballsy, perhaps? :) Kanye's use of auto-tune was more effective for songs like "Welcome to Heartbreak", "Love Lockdown", and "Heartless" -- the latter of which is somewhat similar to this song -- but for some reason, it doesn't carry the same weight here. :/ Oh well, D.O.A., anyway! :)
