Huckbone, you did a BETTER JOB than the creators of the original! I'm VERY serious! You should be doing this for a living, as your skills are definitely superior to anything Paramount® ever did! Excellent accomplishment!
@ScorpioMensan1 Thanks my friend. And yes, ironically, I do edit for a living, so maybe Paramount will take notice and beam me aboard for JJ's sequel. :)
Great job, man! Been a trekkie since the 70s and this is the most creative thing of this I ever saw! Love Scotty with the bottle lol kills me every time rofl. Thanks for including Yeoman Rand I always liked her haha. And yeah the Red Shirt dude thing was great too of course lol!
@fawdown I'm glad you got that. A few people are like "why did you choose that weird shot of Scotty?" And I'm thinking..."Do you know Scotty?" Nothing sums our Scotsman up better than him hugging his bottle of "Green."
Memorial Day was created by the evil ILLUMINATI. It's their way of mocking all the military people that murdered and died for the ILLUMINATI causes! Memorial Day is disgustingly evil. The U.S. soldiers are not "defending" our freedoms here in America. The mind controlled U.S. soldiers are defending the evil interests of their true masters that rule from Rome (the synagogue of Satan)! I have evidence of this sad fact.
In my opinion, you've reimagined the Main Titles and End Credits BEAUTIFULLY! It's great to see the Original Series' other actors get the respect and recognition they so richly deserve! The end was a nice comedic touch that I didn't see coming. Thanks for the upload!
Though I admire your compositing and timely editing with the music, this is one of those cheesy intros that I am personally glad they never used.
I have wondered what it would have been like and after watching your version, I now know. Don't get me wrong, your video is a brilliant effort and I applaud you for it. (Especially with the red-shirt credit at the very end).
This was custom made? It looks incredibly professional. My congratulations to you. It's an excellent montage, and the credit to "Some Dude" was appropriate and very amusing. :)
It's what George Lucas decided to do after he found success with American Graffiti starring Richard Dreyfuss and Harrison Ford (who later landed starring roles as the title character in the Indiana Jones trilogy and Han Solo in Star Wars-don't worry, I'll explain that later). The success of that film gave him leverage to pitch to studios the film he wanted to make: you guessed it, a sci-fi movie out of his love for Flash Gordon as a kid.
Here's the entire saga summarized: two men called Jedi, who can move shit with their minds and fight with blades of light, go to a planet to negotiate with amphibians to end a blockade. They rescue the royal house just as an invasion begins, land on a desert, find a boy, win his freedom in a race, teach him shit, he becomes evil, betrays them in the middle of a galactic civil war, joins the Chancellor, who was really evil, he declares himself Emporer, they build a battle station, his son...
redshirts: those poor, courageous, heroic, expendable souls willing to give it their all in order to bring success to those who outlast them (not that outlasting a redshirt in a star trek episode is anything to be proud of)
I think either Treker or Trekie is correct, though Trekie is the more popular term. Not sure; not an expert by any means. Just an owner of some Star Trek VHS tapes (both the original series and the movies) Not gonna lie, prefer Star Wars, I was introduced to that first. Gotta appreciate Shatner and Nimoy though, oh and Deforest Kelly, James Doohan, Walter Koeing, and George Takei.
Speaking as an original Star Trek fan (I'm 57) I think it's about time that someone gave official credit to tall the red shirts that bit the space dust over the years! Thanks for an original & very funny video!
@wlf12341 Wow. Someone has issues. If you hate these sort of things, there's a simple solution. Don't watch them. Jeez. Take a chill pill, potty mouth.

that was incredable!!! well done. Shame you can't use the slingshot effect and go back in time and make that the original series opening. That would be awsome!
EPIC... it was great enough that you had Chekov, he ALWAYS gets overlooked (and he's my favorite, no less, reminds me of me a lot) but no... you gave EVERYONE the credit they deserved!
Chapel!
RAND!
Lt. KYLE! (Wow... THAT is some serious love)
But most importantly... Some Dude FINALLY got the credit and recognition he deserves (unfortunately he couldn't enjoy it, the alien monster got him 10 minutes in, but still...)
I bring a message to all hate what YouTube is becoming. I hate the new appearance of the viewing system, I hate the reorientation of the video selection, comments, and description system, and most importantly, I hate the new rating system. I will spread this message everywhere until the designers of YouTube will concede with my complaints and restore it all.

This is well done! I liked how the personality of each of the main characters was captured - i.e. Kirk looking in command, Spock looking analytical, McCoy holding a scanner. I especially enjoyed Some Dude; the show really would not have been the same without him.
@xNatALi3xz Haha!! Now you've got me 2nd-guessing myself! I'll admit that it's been years since I read Star Trek credits - I'm a little nerdy but I love Star trek so much, I'm proud that I read the credits! I'll just check ... Wow!
