  • Tyler was 3-star recruit with offers from the IU/Purdue/NW/WF contingent. He had to try out for Weis and the coaches at a camp to earn his offer, which was his only really big time offer. Just a reminder to any fans who write off a recruit or wonder why ND is making an offer to or accepting a commitment from a 3-star kid with middling offers. They aren't all Tyler Eiferts, but if they're offered, the ND staff believes they have the physical tools to excel; bring 'em in, and coach 'em up.
