ive had my MR2 for bout 5 years now. i have a rap4 22" sniper barrel on it. you do need a fast hopper (halo B) better ball detents (bob long timmys) the stock grips suck.. paint or water can get in and fry the board. i suggest u get new MR grips or modify sum Dye Sticky's. also get a locking feedneck. ...... hey by any chance do you live near riverside, ca?.. looks almost exactly like where i used to live..

nice little barrel lol. i hear that the MR3 when it comes out is gonna come standard with a barrel about that short. gonna be a 10 inch small barrel. i personally like the 16 inch barrel though. although the short barrel makes it look SUPER pwnage. makes it look like an MP5 replica.

yeah i gotta Mr 2 also.. i was going to get the halo hopper but i desided to go with my disinigrater hopper.... I havent tried my gun yet becuz my dad took it away from me.... (since i shot my neighbors car with a bb gun) But im going to try it... i got the one with the eyes so it will actually give me more accuracy... Just to give u a heads up. One of the best ways to get a good gun for a good price is online stores or trading since my friend got a dm 7 for 800$!!!!

I want to get this marker but I am trying to get a consensus on how it functions. In your honest opinion after new detents, a remote line, breaking in the bolt, and adding a good hopper how often do you chop on full auto and burst mode? Also does it chop much in semi-auto? Thanks.

All of this will HELP prevent the breaking, but obviously it wont STOP the breaking. You will need a hopper that can do up to 30bps to keep up with the R.O.F. Even though the info says that the marker does 25bps, you will need a hopper that can exceed that limit to keep up with it. In burst mode, all of the things you mentioned will help, and 96/100shots will be clean. Semi-automatic doesn't tend to chop balls at a steady pace, but you will need a fast hopper still. (Halo B w/rip recommended.)

I have a mr2 with halo b. It works fine (a little risky on the ball chopping if left on fully auto for a long time. I only use it on burst and semi) im selling mine for $350 with halo b and aftermarket lapco 16" barrel. no tanl. Im from b.c.. If anyone interested message me.

If you don't have a force feed hopper definatley get one. You can get Eggy 2's for cheap on ebay.

sounds to me like the balls are popcorning. Pressure is escaping through the feed neck. Try buying an Alamo city bolt with 2 o rings and see if that fixes the problem. The only down side is you'll lose the ACS.

^for milsim thats correct. My used to take a beating big time. I just like to try everything and the MR series peaked my interest. Now with that said, the MR series is a very n00b friendly gun, easy to take apart and clean. Also the price is better than the tippmann. I won't take a side on spyder vs tippmann simply because I love both products.

yo if you are looking for a good barrle on a MR2 then buy a BT Apex barle with a M4 sight ,.. tht is what i got on my gun and it is amazing,.. but most ppl dont like the length,...

25 bbs in full auto and in semi even with the acs bolt you still chop left an right unless u get an 18v fasta loader

Why do you think Spyders are gay? They're great entry level markers. I love all my MR series guns. I can honestly say they're perfect for people on a budget and want a marker thats easy to work on.
