Il 6 livello è impossibile......e poi c'è troppo divario di difficoltà tra il 5 ed il 6......

Che cazzo.....al 5 ci sono 50 onde gestibilissime anche con 3 o 4 plasma e massimo 5 DCA (rossi ovviamente).

Al 6 ben 100 onde di alieni che fin da subito sono cmq molto piu resistenti rispetto a quelli del 5...Poi i DCA nel 6 livello non bastano mai e gli elicotterini del cazzo superato il 72Livello passano.

Damn this fuckin game! I NEVER get past level 93, it's impossible! I've tried many times. And everytime I come very very close to surviving those flying bastards of level 93, with like 10 lives left and yet 2 or 3 of those assholes get through and finish me off. I hate it so much! I think 15 DOA's should be enough to make it through and IF those flying things don't get you, it should be easy to make it to level 100, asuming level 93 is the last flying wave. Impossible game, very frustrating!!!

haha yes! I beat it. I didn't record it because of the extreme lag I got but I am going to use something other than hypercam which will make it lag a lot less.

the way I did it was by selling about 30 vulcan turrets on level 93 and using all the saved up money to make red DCAs in their place.

The juggling took ages though with only about 10 red plasma turrets and a bunch of white vulcans. I was still killing level 95 monsters after all the level 100 flyers died

i managed to get throught lvl 81 twice but i cant do it again..the most is lvl 79

I can kill all the ground guys and I just lose with the flying ones. At the later rounda they have so much hp that even my 6 red DCAs can't kill them :S

My strategy is very similar except i used no plasmas and more sams as they deal bulk damage. I also didnt bother with the final DCA upgrades. Dont think it is possible to kill enough lvl 93/100 flyers to beat the game

Yep, you need to juggle to be able to pass mission 6, with almost all red bfg towers / sam sites and zero towers it took me 20min -ish to kill the ground mobs from waves 95+.

I played the "normal" way and couldn't get past level 78, no DPS that I could put out would kill the walking enemies. Closing and opening paths is the only way to have a chance at beating the game.

Key Strategies: group aliens by using 3 paths to collect them and use SAM, keep aliens on borders when flyers come so FREEZE can focus on flyers. I died at 93 b/c 2 extra flyers passed. KChen lined DCA horizontally, the right way. KChen is very efficient in acheiving these goals. Maybe to improve: don't use Plasma, but SAMs only, make a bit longer maze that SAMs can still reach consistently to save money. Otherwise, superb game, I learned alot from watching game.

Good effort. I can never beat the first flying bosses; I can take one out but never both of them. Why do you use SAMs? I stopped using them because of their re-fire rate, way too slow compared to Sonic turrets.

Spamming high-level DCAs is pretty much the only way. Up to blue level should be sufficient for the first lot, as the cost/effectiveness is worse for the final upgrade.

Zero (high level freeze) turrets are also good for helping your DCAs get more shots in.

They have an area effect, so when he kept making them path back and forth, they bunched up together. In essence, the SAMs do most damage; if 20 aliens were together, it'd do 320 x 20 = over 6000 damage with ONE SHOT!

That's true, but sonic turrets have higher damage and fire rate, and paralyze!

I've never tried it, but concentrating some sonic turrets and freeze turrets into a nice corner can be worth trying. They have the potential of dealing more damage and if enough are in one place, can stun everything... might try that next.

You didnt go over level 100, look for you point.

However this is a cheat, closing path during the game and changing direction of waves.

Closing and opening alternate paths to redirect the aliens is not a cheat; it's an essential necessity of the game at lvl 6. Without this trick you have absolutely no chance of beating the game.

The aliens at the end of the game simply have too much health to kill using a single path, nomatter how elaborate your maze and how powerful your guns and their number.

That's by far the most elaborate juggling I've ever seen in one of these games. Very well played! It's pretty sad that, even with such careful planning and skillful execution, the game is STILL unwinnable. People seem to think XT2 is inferior to XT1, but at least XT2 can be beaten by mere mortals.

the problem is, you slowed the video down at the end making it look like that was the majority of your struggle, and since i skipped most the middle i didn't notice that, selling your thw towers after the 14th flyer raid was a bold decision, you should of showed your score, i r very sowwie :( (my best attempt was 2 hp at 93)

I did not slow down the video. It became very slow when you pass the level 93. Before reach the the level 100, most of aliens were still alive. If you don't understand why I sold all my weapons before level 93, please check my another video.
