It is lacking the fluidity of dancers who trust each other implicitly and are one with the dance. They are constantly checking each other to make sure everyone is in position.
Can you imagine ballet where the ballerina is constantly checking to make sure her partner is ready to lift her, and doesn't trust him not to drop her on her ass?
