What a terrible missed call. I remember watching this with my dad, and him yelling they do not have to go for to. I remember the commentators saying that Moeller was well liked because he always gave his players the chance to shine. It was actually the right move, they would have lost the number one ranking with the tie. If not for the trip, its a win.... Good idea to trip, cuz even if the call is made, UM still has to line up again and try again for 2...
Went to high school with the fullback, Rob Roy who delivers punishing blocks throughout this video. In high school he once filled in as middle linebacker (playing offense and defense that day) in a crucial playoff game and took over the game ala Jefferson in Fast Times at Ridgemont High - wish I had video of that performance to post for you!
Desmond was tripped. Check last years game. Whats a worse call? I'd have to go with an incomplete pass that was overruled and scored a TD by the replay booth. He doesnt even have control of the ball until he lands 3 yards OB. The Desmond trip was atleast just a missed call, this was a flat out cheating by replay booth who decided NCAA game rules dont matter.
That was a trip. Oh well, Desmond still should have caught it. BTW, UofM scored a TD that wasnt even a catch last year. And another TD was extremely questionable pass interference. Its not like this crap doesn't happen both ways.
What a mugging in the end zone. Yet, not surprising from MSU... afterall, after this and the '01 clock debacle it's clear to see they can rarely win within the rules.
Is this an MSU highlight tape? Hahah.. Damn, Desmond was quick. I almost forgot how good he was. He did drop the ball, but it was clearly interference. That would have been called nowadays.
Everyone ALWAYS forgets that State was robbed of a Touchdown in the 3rd quarter on a 4th and goal. It was 6 points taken off the board by a bad call. Saw it stop action on Sportscenter showing the ball over the goal line. Tell you what, you can have your two points (that you dropped)Desmond...give State the 6 points denied by a bad call and we will call it a State Victory....again. Go Sparty. Enjoy DickRod M....Nice Hire...Holy Toledo....it's the DickRod Spread Defense..This is so sweet.
I'm a Spartan fan, but the fact that the refs blew a call earlier doesn't excuse them blowing the call at the end. I'd rather State get the win cleanly than we make excuses.
Well then you're a shitty fan. Its not our fault that the call wasn't made and even if the call IS made UM still has to score to win. I don't really care at the end of the day because the win counts and the excuses don't

Michigan fans are still crying about this game?
What's the difference between a Michigan fan and a puppy? Sooner or later the puppy stops whining
