jeremy seeley here... my sister i know is still watching you guys from up above. specially Brett. britt was a good friend in hometown,,,wish i wasnt in texas and could come see you guys. hope all is well and you all doing good. still listening to ya from here.
@ldeihm They still play around central and eastern PA quite a bit! Keep an eye on their website for when they put new shows up and if you're in the area at the time come on out! They are as good as ever still...
this is just a simply amazing song. I used to hear this song a lot and never knew who sang it until 2 years ago when I heard it on the radio again and decided to look it up. Love it.
That is so totally the Walnut Steet Bridge in H-Burg!! No way! That's awesome! I'm from there originally and have since moved away, and didn't have access to the music vid when it first came out - WAY COOL!!!
Try being one of the only Southerners who knows who The Badlees are - and the only one who loves their music!!!! every time we go to State college I try to buy what I can find on South Atherton. I am thrilled to find this on YouTube! I remember when you were in Myrtle Beach on the bill with our friend, Paul Skyland.... Long time, huh?

I just saw The Badlees again in Jim THorpe, PA, what a great show and a great place. They haven't lost a thing. They played River Songs from beginning to end...it was awesome.
Hey saxtonjammie....You suck!!!! I"m from pgh pa and i used to go see them live all the time and there were a lot of "them backwards hobutts" there supportimg them....yeah the area might suck but i take offense to your comment about the people ,so all i have to say is blow me you jerkoff
I found this song on a hard drive I borrowed from a friend...and I haven't stopped listening to it since. It just grows on you, and I love singing it...despite the fact I have to keep jumping octaves.
This song never wears out. The Badlees were nominated for Comeback of the Year on the Billtown Bus Stop Radio Hour Music Awards 1/4/10. Keep up the good work!
Loved this song back in the 90's.... doesn't seem like that long ago. I guess that makes me old! I love the hair scrunchie around his wrist in the concert footage! So 90's....:)
these guys are cool, miss the grove, reminds me of home. I met them at a few shows when my band played after them. Went to my High school, Selinsgrove High.
Heard these guys thanks to WRVV. I love the River and miss Scott Matthews, but it's good to sometimes still hear his voice in commercials. Got introduced in the mid-90's. Loved this one and Angeline.
I lived in the Harrisburg area from 91 - 95. These guys were one of my favorite local bands. I don't get the "Thanks for Northeast PA" comment...I grew up in Northeast PA (Hazleton) and these guys are from the middle (Selinsgrove) not anywhere Northeast. I also don't get (or like) the "PA sucks" comment from saxtonjammie. It's "an" not "a" (oppressed) and second of all I guess you've been to every corner of the state (and for that matter the US) that you can say all of PA is "a oppressed area."
Totally one of the most underrated bands of alltime and about the nicest bunch of guys you'd ever want to meet. I understand there's a new CD in the works:)
I was at this show, the making of this video. One of my most fun experiences of the 90's, with one of the best bands.memories, great music guys. Looking forward to the new stuff!!
Damn I LOVE BIF BURGER! have not had one of those in 91/2 years. As far as the Denver coment, that would be nice to see them and Crash Test Dummies @ Cervantes. Yeah the guys are alright, thinking of an other good burger, SLOW JACKS! Hampton Bays NY. used to work with them, I remember some crazy bimbo took Pete's shampoos at the Front Street Station, man was he pissed off. Yeah, most of those days were good, But PA sucks. Talk about a opressed area, "them folks, backwards hobutts"
My memory's failing me. Was this the video they shot at The Metron (Club Met, or whatever the hell it was called) on Cameron St? I was at that show (I believe) as well as countless others. I miss seeing them play. Thanks for posting this video, Fetch.
i met them in person when they came to Lock Haven, PA and they were awesome and i seen then again after that when they came to my highschool a year after i met with them and talked with them
Hey, I love you guys! I would love to hear you guys play again, soon! My husband and I met at one of your concerts and then went to see you guys every week, I believe. We were only dating at the time, and later got married, and now have a daughter. My husband and I always have one of your cds in our cars at all times!! I am one of your biggest fans, Pete!! I am sure if you think hard enough, you'll remember me. You guys are awesome!!
Memories in the corner of my mind ahem. these guys were a bunch of long hairs who could cover any request shouted out. I made a few myself--favorite covers were any Ramones tune, Ring of Fire Rocky-Top and of course Heatmiser. The great thing about the band is the talent of all members. Also the fact that they had the balls to play originals. No matter what Badlees release you get your hands on they're all good ALL the way through! That can't be said much. NEW RELEASE FALL 2008!!!
I really miss these guys playing in Wilwood. The last time i saw Pete play was a few years back at the Pontiac grill On South Street. Ill have to post that footage one of these days. Thank you posting this video brother!
back in 1992 i used to love to watch them play all over the selinsgrove and sunbury area.. several of us that used to work at the psp barracks really liked their music.. i since moved away and got to see them a few more times in state college and altoona pa ...boy do i miss seeing them live...good thing i own all the albums....what is the band up too now....anyone know ......PS ill never forget the night i got to meet them at the old biff burger...
biff burger... boy does that bring back memories. I forgot about that place. I saw them play a couple of years ago at the Pillow carnival. That sucks they are still so much better than that. They were doing some gigs as The Cellar Birds down at Gulliftys a couple of years ago. Just a couple of members of the band. The great thing about these guys is they never seemed to forget where they came from.
Peace from a Beloit journalist in vinyl-----it was a good week

One of the greatest bands ever. Too bad they had to compete with Ricky Martin and Britney Spears. The age when artists weren't taken seriously.
